Samsung has officially entered the smart glasses market with the launch of its Galaxy Glasses at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event in London. Unlike many earlier smart glasses that prioritized technology over appearance, Samsung is positioning Galaxy Glasses as everyday eyewear. The company partnered with luxury eyewear brand Gentle Monster and US-based Warby Parker to develop multiple frame designs. The Gentle Monster edition features a slim black frame with softly rounded edges aimed at fashion-conscious users. Meanwhile, the Warby Parker edition offers a classic brown frame with a subtle upswept design suited for everyday wear.
Samsung says it also worked closely with both partners to improve comfort around the forehead and ears, making the glasses suitable for extended daily use.
Battery Life and Availability
Samsung says the Galaxy Glasses can deliver up to 9 hours of use on a single charge. The bundled charging case provides up to seven additional full charges, extending usage throughout the day. The company has not yet announced pricing, availability, or launch markets for the new wearable.
