7,000mAh battery takes centre stage
The biggest highlight of the OnePlus N6x is its 7,000mAh battery. According to the company, the phone can deliver up to 2.5 days of battery life on a single charge under typical usage.
OnePlus claims the battery can provide up to 20.56 hours of video playback, 133.56 hours of music playback, 25.04 hours of social media browsing, and 11.26 hours of continuous video recording. These figures are based on the company’s internal testing.
The large battery is expected to appeal to students, frequent travellers and users who spend long hours streaming content or browsing social media without regular access to a charger.
However, the N6x falls slightly behind the recently launched OnePlus N6, which packs an even larger 8,000mAh battery.
120Hz display and AI photo editing features
OnePlus has also confirmed that the N6x will feature a flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising smoother scrolling and gaming.
On the software side, the phone will include several AI-powered imaging tools, including AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser, and AI Unblur. These features can brighten faces in low-light shots, remove unwanted objects from photos and improve image sharpness directly on the device.
