Motorola Signature 27 launch date confirmed
Motorola announced that the Signature 27 will launch globally on November 5. The company shared the date through its official X account.
The brand described the smartphone as “elegantly crafted for comfort”. It also invited users to discover the device on its launch date.
Motorola first unveiled the Signature 27 at Snapdragon Summit 2026. It later showcased the handset at Indian Mobile Congress 2026. However, the company has not announced its price or detailed market availability yet.
Geekbench listing reveals chipset, RAM and performance
The Motorola Signature 27 has appeared on Geekbench 7 ahead of its launch. The listing records 3,313 points in the single-core test and 11,088 points in the multi-core test.
It also identifies Android 17 as the operating system. The benchmark shows approximately 10.94GB of available memory, suggesting a 12GB RAM configuration.
The listing identifies the processor as QTI SM8975. It describes an octa-core chipset with clock speeds of 3.74GHz, 4.03GHz and 5.01GHz. The entry also mentions an Adreno 850 GPU.
These details align with Motorola’s confirmation that the phone will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. The processor will work alongside the company’s ArcticMesh cooling system.
However, benchmark scores from a pre-launch device do not represent final retail performance. Actual results could vary depending on software optimisation and other factors.
Two Pantone colour options announced
Motorola will offer the Signature 27 in two colour options: Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Capulet Green.
The Pantone Coal Smoke variant features a woven texture. Motorola says this finish aims to improve grip and durability.
The Pantone Capulet Green option gets a brushed, textile-inspired finish. Both variants appear to focus on a distinct design rather than conventional glossy smartphone finishes.
Seven years of OS upgrades promised
Motorola has also promised seven years of OS upgrades for the Signature 27. This commitment could make the phone a longer-term option for buyers who prefer to keep their devices for several years.
However, the company has not provided further details about the update schedule in the announcement.
Motorola is expected to reveal the remaining specifications, pricing and availability details during the November 5 launch. Until then, the Geekbench listing offers an early look at the hardware powering its upcoming flagship.
