OnePlus has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the OnePlus N6x. Positioned below the recently introduced OnePlus N6, the new handset focuses on battery life and everyday performance, featuring a 7,000mAh battery, a 120Hz display and a MediaTek Dimensity chipset.

Large battery is the biggest highlight
The standout feature of the OnePlus N6x is its 7,000mAh battery, making it one of the largest batteries in its price segment. The phone supports 15W wired fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge compatible accessories using the device. According to OnePlus, the handset also carries an MIL-STD-810H durability certification, adding an extra layer of protection for daily use.
120Hz display and MediaTek chipset
The OnePlus N6x features a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 900 nits peak brightness and eye protection features. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex processor, paired with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. To manage heat during gaming and multitasking, OnePlus has included a 13,280 sq mm vapour chamber cooling system. The smartphone runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box.
Camera and other features
For photography, the OnePlus N6x sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and support for up to 10x digital zoom. On the front, it houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Both cameras support 1080p video recording at 30fps. The handset measures 8.65mm thick and weighs approximately 214g.
