Moto Pad 70 price in India and availability

The Moto Pad 70 starts at Rs. 33,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 256GB version costs Rs. 36,999.

Motorola will start selling the tablet in India from August 15. It will be available through Flipkart and the Motorola India website. The tablet comes in a Pantone Sea Angel colour option.

A 2.5K display with a 90Hz refresh rate

The biggest highlight of the Moto Pad 70 is its 12.1-inch IPS display. The panel has a 2.5K resolution of 1,600×2,560 pixels and supports a 90Hz refresh rate. It also covers 96 percent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.

The display offers 600 nits of typical brightness. It can reach up to 800 nits in High Brightness Mode.

Motorola has also added TÜV Rheinland certifications for Flicker Free operation and Low Blue Light emissions. This should make the tablet better suited to extended viewing and reading sessions.

Large battery and bundled accessories

The Moto Pad 70 packs a 10,200mAh battery, which is one of its key differences from more compact tablets. It supports 68W wired charging, with a compatible power adapter included in the box.

Motorola is also bundling the Moto Pen and Moto Folio Keyboard. The stylus supports 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, along with tilt detection and palm rejection.

This combination gives the tablet a stronger focus on productivity and note-taking.

Dimensity 6400 powers the tablet

Under the hood, the Pad 70 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor with an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Users can also expand the storage through the microSD card slot. The tablet supports cards of up to 2TB. For software, the Moto Pad 70 runs Android 16. Motorola has promised OS upgrades up to Android 18.

The company has also committed to providing security updates until 2030. This gives the tablet a longer software support window than many budget and mid-range Android tablets.

AI features and quad speakers

The Moto Pad 70 includes Google’s Gemini integration and several AI-powered tools.

These include Circle to Search, AI Summary and AI Continue Writing. These features add some of Google’s newer AI capabilities to the tablet. For entertainment, the tablet has four speakers with Dolby Atmos support. It also includes a dual-microphone system for calls and voice input.

The camera setup includes a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.

5G connectivity and expandable storage

The Pad 70 supports 5G connectivity alongside Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2. It also gets a USB Type-C port and a pogo-pin connector for accessories. Other hardware includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor and Hall sensor.

The tablet has an IP52 rating for protection against dust and dripping water. Despite its large display and battery, the Moto Pad 70 measures 6.49mm in thickness. It weighs approximately 530 grams.

At Rs. 33,999, the Moto Pad 70 brings together a high-resolution 90Hz display, a large battery and bundled productivity accessories. Its long software support also gives it an advantage for buyers looking to keep the tablet for several years.
