Huawei has confirmed that its Pura 90 series will make its global debut on July 14, just a few months after launching in China. The company will unveil the smartphones at its “Now Is Your Moment” event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max is also expected to ne launched.

While Huawei has not confirmed the complete global lineup, the latest teaser suggests that photography will remain the biggest focus of the series.

Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max Camera Gets the Spotlight

Ahead of the launch, Huawei has teased the Pura 90s Pro Max, highlighting its 20x telephoto zoom camera.

The company claims the camera will capture detailed images even at high zoom levels. Although Huawei has not revealed additional camera specifications, the teaser indicates that the upcoming model could be a rebranded version of the Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max, which launched in China earlier this year.

If that happens, global buyers can expect flagship-level photography features similar to the Chinese model.

Which Models Could Launch Globally?

Huawei has not officially revealed the complete global lineup.

However, the company is widely expected to launch the Huawei Pura 90, Huawei Pura 90 Pro, and the newly teased Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max.

The original Pura 90 series debuted in China in April with three smartphones powered by Huawei’s in-house Kirin 9000-series processors and running HarmonyOS 6.1.

What Does the Pura 90 Series Offer?

The standard Huawei Pura 90 features a 6.8-inch display and runs on the Kirin 9010S chipset.

Meanwhile, the Pura 90 Pro comes with a 6.6-inch display, while the Pura 90 Pro Max features a larger 6.9-inch panel. Both premium models are powered by the Kirin 9030S chipset.

All three smartphones pack a 6,000mAh battery, making battery life one of the key highlights of the lineup.

Huawei is expected to retain most of these specifications for the global variants, although official confirmation will come during the launch event.

Expected Price

The Huawei Pura 90 series launched in China with a starting price of CNY 4,699, which is roughly ₹64,000 for the base 12GB + 256GB variant.

Huawei has not announced global pricing yet. Prices for international markets will be revealed during the July 14 event.

Will the Huawei Pura 90 Series Launch in India?

Huawei has not announced any plans to bring the Pura 90 series to India.

Although the company continues to launch wearables and audio products in the country, its smartphone presence in India remains limited. As a result, Indian buyers may have to rely on imports if the company decides against an official launch.

More details, including pricing, availability, and the final list of global models, are expected during Huawei’s July 14 launch event.
