Camera hardware stands at the center of the Huawei Pura 90 series launch. The Pura 90 Pro Max introduces a 200-megapixel RYYB telephoto sensor designed to improve zoom clarity and low-light capture at longer distances.

Meanwhile, the Pura 90 Pro includes a 50-megapixel macro telephoto camera with optical zoom support. It also carries a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 12.5-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

The standard Pura 90 features a triple-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and a 12.5-megapixel ultra-wide shooter.

Across all models, Huawei includes a 13-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.

Which processors power the Huawei Pura 90 series?

Huawei equips the Pura 90 Pro and Pura 90 Pro Max with the Kirin 9030S chipset. The base Pura 90 runs on the Kirin 9010S processor.

These processors support up to 16GB RAM and storage configurations reaching 1TB. As a result, Huawei continues strengthening its strategy around internally developed silicon platforms.

All three devices run HarmonyOS 6.1, which operates independently of Android and supports deeper ecosystem integration across Huawei hardware.

The Huawei Pura 90 starts at CNY 4,699. The Pura 90 Pro begins at CNY 5,499. The Pura 90 Pro Max starts at CNY 6,499 and reaches CNY 8,599 depending on configuration.

Huawei confirmed sales in China begin April 29. However, the company has not yet announced global rollout timelines.
