Skullcandy has expanded its premium audio lineup in India with the launch of the Method 360 ANC true wireless earbuds. The new earbuds stand out because they combine Skullcandy’s signature design with Bose-tuned audio, hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC), and up to 40 hours of battery life. The company has introduced them at a limited-time introductory price of Rs. 12,499.
The latest launch targets users looking for premium sound quality without stepping into the ultra-premium TWS segment dominated by brands like Sony, Samsung, and Apple.
Price and Availability in India
The Skullcandy Method 360 ANC carries a regular retail price of Rs. 16,999. However, buyers can purchase it at an introductory price of Rs. 12,499 for a limited period.
The earbuds are available through the Skullcandy India website in five color options: Black, Bone, Primer, Plasma, and Leopard.
Bose-Tuned Audio Takes Center Stage
The biggest highlight of the Method 360 ANC is its Sound by Bose tuning. Skullcandy says it partnered with Bose to deliver a richer and more balanced listening experience.
The earbuds feature 12mm drivers with support for preset EQ modes and a customizable five-band equalizer through the Skull-iQ companion app.
Users can adjust the sound profile based on their music preferences without relying on third-party apps.
Hybrid ANC, Google Fast Pair, and Multipoint Connectivity
Skullcandy has equipped the earbuds with a four-microphone hybrid ANC system that actively reduces surrounding noise.
Users can also switch to Stay Aware Mode, which lets outside sounds pass through without removing the earbuds. This feature is useful while walking outdoors or commuting.
For calls, the earbuds use Clear Voice Smart Mic technology to reduce background noise. Natural Voice Sidetone also lets users hear their own voice more naturally during conversations.
On the connectivity front, the Method 360 ANC supports Bluetooth 5.3, LE Audio, Google Fast Pair, and multipoint pairing, allowing users to stay connected to two devices at the same time.
Battery and Design
Each earbud offers up to 11 hours of playback on a single charge. Combined with the charging case, users can get up to 40 hours of battery life with ANC turned off.
With ANC enabled, Skullcandy claims up to 32 hours of total playback. A quick 10-minute charge provides up to two hours of listening time.
The earbuds feature an ergonomic oval design with three sizes of ear gels and fit fins. Skullcandy says the fit system uses licensed Bose technology to improve comfort and passive noise isolation.
The redesigned charging case now features a slider mechanism and an integrated O-ring clip for easier portability.
The earbuds also carry an IPX4 rating, making them resistant to sweat and water splashes during workouts or daily use.
Should You Consider Them?
At the introductory price of Rs. 12,499, the Skullcandy Method 360 ANC enters the premium TWS segment with a strong feature set. Bose-tuned audio, hybrid ANC, multipoint connectivity, Google Fast Pair, and long battery life make them an attractive option for Android users looking for feature-rich wireless earbuds.
However, buyers should compare them with alternatives from OnePlus, Sony, JBL, and Samsung before making a purchase.
