HAMMER Drop Sunrise launched in India at ₹599
HAMMER has launched the Drop Sunrise, a compact Bluetooth speaker designed for everyday music and entertainment. Priced at ₹599, the speaker combines 5W RMS output with a 52mm full-range driver in a small form factor.
The Drop Sunrise targets users who want a speaker for their desk, bedside table or kitchen without occupying much space. It also offers several playback options, including Bluetooth streaming, USB drives, TF cards and FM radio.
HAMMER says the speaker delivers up to 32 hours of playback on a single charge. It also features Bluetooth 6.0, Type-C fast charging and a built-in microphone for hands-free calls.
Compact design with 5W audio output
The HAMMER Drop Sunrise features a rounded design instead of the boxy or cylindrical shapes common among portable speakers. Its Elegant Beige finish blends beige and soft yellow tones inspired by the colours of a sunrise.
The compact design makes it suitable for personal spaces where a larger speaker might feel cumbersome. However, its small size does not mean it lacks dedicated audio hardware. The speaker uses a 52mm full-range driver and delivers 5W RMS output.
These specifications position it for everyday listening, including music, podcasts and casual entertainment. Actual loudness and sound quality will depend on listening conditions and the audio content.
Bluetooth 6.0 and TWS pairing
The Drop Sunrise supports Bluetooth 6.0 for wireless audio streaming from compatible devices. Users can connect a smartphone or another compatible device to play music, podcasts and other audio.
The speaker also supports True Wireless Stereo (TWS) pairing. This allows users to connect two compatible HAMMER speakers wirelessly for a wider stereo presentation.
Two-speaker pairing could be useful when one compact speaker does not provide enough coverage for a room. HAMMER also highlights the possibility of using the speakers across multiple spaces, although the company has not detailed how its multi-room setup works.
Up to 32 hours of battery life
Battery life is one of the main features of the HAMMER Drop Sunrise. The company claims up to 32 hours of playback on a single charge.
The actual runtime will vary with volume levels, connectivity and usage. Still, the claimed endurance could make the speaker suitable for extended listening without frequent charging.
For charging, the speaker features a USB Type-C port with fast-charging support. HAMMER has not specified the charging time or the battery capacity in the announcement.
USB, TF card and FM radio support
The Drop Sunrise offers several ways to play audio beyond Bluetooth. Users can play music directly from a USB drive or TF card. The built-in FM radio provides another option for listening without streaming audio from a phone.
The speaker also features a built-in microphone for hands-free voice calls. This could be useful for quick conversations and online meetings when users do not want to switch to another device.
These additions give the Drop Sunrise more flexibility than a Bluetooth-only speaker. However, the announcement does not specify supported TF card capacities or the details of its FM radio controls.
HAMMER Drop Sunrise price and availability
The HAMMER Drop Sunrise costs ₹599 in India and comes in the Elegant Beige colour option. It is available through HammerOnline.in, Flipkart, Amazon.in, Instamart and Blinkit.
At this price, the speaker brings together compact styling, 5W RMS output, Bluetooth 6.0 and a claimed 32-hour battery life. Its USB, TF card and FM radio support also offer alternatives to wireless streaming.
The key question for buyers will be its real-world audio quality and battery performance. Those details will determine how well the Drop Sunrise works as an everyday speaker for music, podcasts and casual listening.
