- Xbox Series X-BITE is a working Xbox Series X console built inside a five-foot alligator replica.
- The custom creation was developed with creature-effects studio John Nolan Studio.
- Xbox is offering the one-of-a-kind build through a social media sweepstakes ending November 10, 2026.
Xbox has revealed a gaming console with a seriously unusual shell. The Xbox Series X-BITE houses working Series X hardware inside a detailed, five-foot alligator replica.
The custom build combines gaming hardware with creature effects. Xbox created it with John Nolan Studio, which specializes in animatronics and practical creature fabrication. The design draws inspiration from Florida wildlife and the alligator’s place in local lore.
A playable console with a reptilian design
The alligator stretches more than five feet from snout to tail. Its torso houses the operational Xbox Series X components, while an illuminated Xbox Nexus logo runs along its spine.
The build also includes a custom Xbox Wireless Controller. It rests inside the alligator’s jaws and features sculpted tooth impressions and textured bite marks.
John Nolan Studio used 3D modelling, sculpting and fabrication to create the lifelike scales and ridges. The replica also features Xbox-green eyes with pupils shaped around the brand’s logo.
Xbox says the hardware can run current games. However, the company sees the unusual creation mainly as an exhibition piece and collector’s item. No real animals were involved or harmed in its production.
Xbox Series X-BITE giveaway runs until November 10
The Series X-BITE is a one-off build, rather than a retail console. Xbox is giving one winner a chance to take it home through an official social media sweepstakes.
The giveaway runs from November 3 through November 10, 2026, and closes at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Interested fans should check Xbox’s official social channels for the promotion’s entry instructions and eligibility terms.
With its fully functional hardware and elaborate alligator exterior, the Series X-BITE turns a familiar console into a striking piece of gaming memorabilia.
