The first wave is scheduled for early November. It includes the Xiaomi 17 series and Xiaomi 15 phones, alongside the Poco F8 Pro lineup, Poco X8 series, Poco M8 lineup, Poco C95 Pro and Poco C85. The Xiaomi Pad 8 series is also included.

HyperOS 4 features a glass-inspired interface
HyperOS 4 introduces Xiaomi’s Soft Light Glass Design. Its translucent visual style has similarities to Apple’s Liquid Glass interface. The update also brings new lock-screen styling, notification stacking and resizable home-screen folders.
Xiaomi claims the software optimises more than 100 frequently used scenarios to improve workload scheduling. The company also says memory preloading improves by 33 percent, even after eight hours of continuous use. In another claimed improvement, the system can reduce the time needed to scan 10,000 photos by 90 percent.
The update also adds Xiaomi’s improved AI assistant, along with AI Speech Recognition and AI Voice Note. Xiaomi Smart Hub is part of the package, too. These additions aim to bring more AI-powered features and connected-device controls into the software experience.
The rollout remains phased, so eligible devices may not receive the update simultaneously. Users can check their device’s system update section for availability. Xiaomi has not specified a single release date for every listed model or market.
