Oppo has started selling its Find X10 series in India, bringing two premium Android smartphones to buyers considering their next flagship upgrade. The Find X10 starts at Rs. 1,39,999, while the Find X10 Pro Max costs Rs. 1,99,999.

The pricing puts the Pro Max in direct consideration for buyers looking at Apple’s top-end iPhone range. Oppo’s pitch centres on camera hardware, a large battery, fast charging and displays with refresh rates of up to 144Hz.

But is the Find X10 Pro Max worth considering over an iPhone? Its specifications offer several reasons to take a closer look. However, choosing between the two brands also involves camera performance, software experience, long-term support and how well a phone fits into a buyer’s existing devices.

Oppo Find X10 series price and launch offers

The Oppo Find X10 costs Rs. 1,39,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM and 512GB model costs Rs. 1,69,999.

The Find X10 Pro Max is priced at Rs. 1,99,999 for its 12GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration. Buyers can also purchase the Oppo Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit separately for Rs. 24,999.

Both smartphones are available through the Oppo e-store, Amazon, Flipkart and retail outlets. The standard Find X10 comes in Titanium Grey and Luna White. The Pro Max is available in Glacier Blue, Glow Coral and Mist Grey.

Introductory offers include EMI plans starting at Rs. 3,500 per month, zero-down-payment options for eligible buyers, UPI cashback of up to Rs. 30,000 and exchange bonuses of up to Rs. 8,000. A complimentary gift box worth Rs. 8,998 is also available, subject to stock and channel terms.

These offers can reduce the effective purchase cost, but buyers should check eligibility, payment conditions and the final price before ordering.

Three 200MP cameras give Oppo a distinctive pitch

The Find X10 Pro Max features three 200-megapixel rear cameras. The setup includes a primary camera, an ultrawide camera and a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

Oppo has co-developed the camera system with Hasselblad and integrated its Lumo True Image Engine. The phone also supports the optional Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit.

The standard Find X10 takes a slightly different approach. It combines a 200-megapixel primary camera and a 200-megapixel telephoto camera with a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor. Both models feature a 50-megapixel front camera.

These specifications make the series particularly interesting for people who enjoy experimenting with different focal lengths and camera perspectives. However, megapixel counts alone cannot establish which phone takes better pictures. Image processing, colour accuracy, low-light performance, video stabilisation and consistency across lenses also matter.

Buyers considering an iPhone should therefore compare actual photos and videos before deciding that Oppo’s higher megapixel counts make it the better camera phone.

Battery and charging could be major reasons to consider Oppo

Both Find X10 models pack an 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. They support 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

That capacity is a major part of Oppo’s pitch, especially for people who spend long hours streaming, gaming, navigating or taking photos. The fast-charging specifications may also appeal to buyers who want to spend less time connected to a charger.

The Find X10 Pro Max has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, while the standard Find X10 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel. Both support refresh rates of up to 144Hz.

The Pro Max runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro platform, built on a 2nm process. The standard model uses the Dimensity 9600M, based on a 3nm process. Both phones run Android 17-based ColorOS 17.

Oppo also lists IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. These features give the series a strong specification sheet, although real-world battery life and performance still need independent testing.

Should you consider Oppo over an iPhone?

The Find X10 Pro Max is worth considering if your priorities include camera flexibility, a large battery, fast charging and a high-refresh-rate display. Its three 200-megapixel rear cameras offer a distinctive approach to mobile photography, while its 8,000mAh battery stands out on paper.

The iPhone may remain the more suitable choice for buyers who prefer iOS, rely on Apple’s ecosystem or prioritise the specific photo and video results produced by Apple’s camera processing. Those advantages should be evaluated through direct comparisons rather than assumptions about either brand.

The price also deserves attention. At Rs. 1,99,999, the Find X10 Pro Max is a substantial investment. The standard Find X10 costs less, but it still sits in the premium flagship segment.

For buyers switching from an iPhone, the decision should go beyond camera numbers and charging speeds. Consider the apps and accessories you use, how you manage photos and files, your software preferences and the resale value available to you.

The Oppo Find X10 series brings compelling hardware to the premium Android market. Whether it is a better purchase than an iPhone will ultimately depend on real-world camera tests, battery results, software experience and the features each buyer values most.
