Noise has entered India’s gaming audio market with the Clutch HP-P01. It is the company’s first dedicated gaming headset under its new Clutch range.

The headset targets gamers using PCs, consoles and mobile devices. It combines a 50mm driver with low-latency wireless connectivity, RGB lighting and a detachable boom microphone.

At Rs. 4,999, the headset also brings several gaming-focused features to a relatively affordable price point.

Noise Clutch HP-P01 price and availability

The Noise Clutch HP-P01 is priced at Rs. 4,999 in India. It is currently available for pre-booking through the company’s website.

The headset will be offered in Black/Red, Purple/Gold and Grey/Green colour options. Deliveries are expected to begin around August 27. Noise also plans to expand its Clutch range with additional gaming audio products through 2026.

What makes the Clutch HP-P01 different?

The biggest focus here is connectivity. The headset supports 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 6.0 and 3.5mm wired connections.

It also claims wireless latency of just 24ms. This should make it better suited to gaming, where delays between an action and the resulting sound can affect the experience.

The headset supports four connection modes. It is compatible with PCs and laptops, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox consoles, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.

50mm drivers and 7.1 virtual surround sound

For audio, the Clutch HP-P01 uses a 50mm dynamic driver. It has a frequency response range of 20Hz to 20kHz.

The headset supports stereo audio as well as toggleable 7.1 virtual surround sound. The latter is designed to provide a more spatial audio experience during gaming.

For voice communication, Noise has included a detachable cardioid boom microphone. It also has a 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response and a sensitivity rating of -35 ±2dB.

There is an on-ear control for quickly muting the microphone.

Up to 40 hours of battery life

The Clutch HP-P01 houses a 600mAh battery. Noise claims up to 40 hours of playback with RGB lighting switched off.

With the RGB lighting enabled, the claimed battery life drops to up to 20 hours. The headset takes around two hours to charge through its USB Type-C port.

The headset also includes seven RGB lighting modes. Users can control these alongside other functions through the on-ear controls.

Metal frame and fabric ear cushions

The Clutch HP-P01 weighs around 300±5 grams. It features a full-metal frame with fabric-covered ear cushions.

Noise says the headset has undergone drop, tumble, and vibration testing. The company has also tested the headband, sliders and clamp for durability. The design is therefore aimed at users who want a gaming headset that can handle regular use across multiple devices.

With the Clutch HP-P01, Noise is moving beyond its mainstream audio products and directly targeting gamers. The combination of 24ms latency, multiple connectivity options, 7.1 virtual surround sound, and a detachable microphone gives it a clear gaming focus.

At Rs. 4,999, its success will ultimately depend on how well these features translate into real-world gaming performance. For now, the HP-P01 marks Noise’s first step into a segment where low latency and cross-platform support matter as much as sound quality.
