Infinix has expanded its Smart 20 lineup in India with the new Smart 20 HD. The phone targets buyers looking for basic smartphone features at an affordable price.
Priced at ₹10,999, the handset combines a 120Hz display with a 5,000mAh battery. It also brings Ultra Link, which enables communication without relying on mobile networks.
The Smart 20 HD joins the standard Smart 20, which launched in India earlier this year. Infinix has also focused on durability, with an IP64 rating and a claimed 48-month TÜV Fluency certification.
Infinix Smart 20 HD price and availability
The Infinix Smart 20 HD is priced at ₹10,999 in India. This price includes the company’s applicable offers and covers the sole 3GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.
The phone will be available in Sunlike Orange, Silver Dancer and Night Pulse colours. It can be purchased through select retail stores, while six-month no-cost EMI is also available.
However, the listed online price can vary. Flipkart’s listing mentioned in the launch information shows a significantly higher price than Infinix’s stated effective price.
120Hz display takes centre stage
The Smart 20 HD features a 6.67-inch HD+ punch-hole display. It offers a 1,600×720-pixel resolution and supports refresh rates of up to 120Hz.
As a result, scrolling and animations should appear smoother than on conventional 60Hz panels. The display can also reach up to 700 nits of HBM brightness.
For everyday use, the combination should suit social media, streaming and general smartphone tasks. However, the HD+ resolution keeps the device firmly in the entry-level segment.
Unisoc chipset and Android 15
Under the hood, the phone uses the Unisoc T7250 octa-core processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Users can also expand the memory virtually by up to 6GB. Additionally, a dedicated microSD card slot allows further storage expansion.
The Smart 20 HD runs XOS 15.1 based on Android 15. Infinix also claims a 48-month TÜV Fluency certification. The company says its internal testing indicates sustained smooth performance over time.
8MP cameras and dual speakers
The Smart 20 HD gets an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus. It also features an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
The rear camera supports several shooting modes. These include Super Night, Dual Video, Vlog, Documents, Pro, Panorama and Time-Lapse.
Interestingly, video recording can reach up to 2K resolution at 30fps. The phone also features dual speakers with DTS audio support.
Infinix claims its Ultra Volume Mode can deliver up to 300 percent volume. The handset also includes three noise cancellation modes and Pure Voice technology.
5,000mAh battery and Ultra Link
The Smart 20 HD packs a 5,000mAh battery. It supports charging at up to 15W, although the box includes a 10W adapter.
One of the more unusual features is Ultra Link. It uses Bluetooth-based connectivity for offline communication.
The feature supports calls, messages, voice notes and image sharing over distances of up to 200 metres. That could make the phone useful in situations where conventional mobile connectivity is unavailable.
The handset measures 165.62×77.01×8.25mm and weighs 189 grams. It also carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
With its 120Hz display, large battery and offline communication feature, the Infinix Smart 20 HD adds a few notable extras to the entry-level segment. Its real appeal, however, will depend on the effective selling price buyers get at launch.
