Gujarati now on Galaxy AI
Samsung is expanding its Galaxy AI experience once again. On October 30, 2025, the company announced that Gujarati and Filipino have joined the growing list of supported languages, taking the total count to 22.
Galaxy AI becomes more inclusive
The rollout began on October 29. With Gujarati and Filipino added, Samsung now brings Galaxy AI features closer to users who prefer local languages. This step makes communication smoother and more natural across regions.
“As Galaxy AI continues to evolve, users in even more regions can now access its suite of intelligent features designed to make communication and productivity easier and more intuitive in everyday life,” said Samsung.
Galaxy AI usage soars in India
Globally, over 70 percent of Galaxy S25 users interact regularly with Galaxy AI and Google Gemini. However, in India, the engagement rate is much higher—around 91 percent of Galaxy S25 users rely on Galaxy AI tools daily.
Moreover, features such as Live Translate, Chat Assist, and Note Assist continue to make AI a core part of the Galaxy experience. They help users communicate, write, and create faster than ever before.
Developed with regional collaboration
Samsung built these new languages with strong regional collaboration. The Gujarati model was developed with Samsung Research India, while the Filipino language version came from the Samsung Research center in Indonesia.
“These features were created with deep linguistic understanding and regional insight to ensure Galaxy AI adapts naturally to the ways people communicate,” the company noted.
By involving its local research teams, Samsung ensures the AI understands real-world expressions, cultural context, and local nuances.
Galaxy AI targets 400 million devices by 2025
Galaxy AI made its debut with the Galaxy S24 series in 2024. Since then, it has reached more than 200 million devices around the world. Now, Samsung aims to double that reach to over 400 million devices by the end of 2025.
With every update, Samsung strengthens its commitment to personalization and accessibility. The addition of Gujarati and Filipino reflects a larger vision—to make Galaxy AI useful for everyone, regardless of language.
Smarter communication for everyone
The new update brings AI closer to how people actually communicate. Users can now write messages, translate conversations, or use smart features in their own languages, making their Galaxy experience more personal.
As Galaxy AI grows, Samsung continues to close the gap between technology and human connection. With support for 22 languages and counting, the company is shaping a future where AI feels more inclusive, natural, and human.
