That is exactly where the new Acer Swift Air 14 fits in.
Acer has unveiled the Swift Air 14 ahead of Computex 2026 as part of its expanding AI PC lineup. The laptop combines a lightweight design with Intel’s latest Core Series 3 processors and dedicated AI capabilities.

Acer is focusing on lightweight AI PCs
One of the biggest highlights of the Acer Swift Air 14 is its lightweight aluminium chassis. The laptop weighs around 1.25kg and measures as thin as 12.9mm.
As a result, the device should appeal to users who travel frequently or work on the move.
At the same time, Acer is pushing AI-focused experiences more aggressively. The laptop includes a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU) capable of handling AI workloads more efficiently.
Additionally, Acer has added a dedicated Copilot key for quick access to Microsoft’s AI assistant in Windows 11.
This reflects a wider industry trend where laptop brands are integrating AI tools directly into mainstream devices instead of limiting them to premium models.
