The company is betting big on AI-powered productivity, longer battery life, and enterprise-grade security as AI PCs continue gaining momentum in 2026.

Acer appears to be responding to the growing demand for AI-powered workplace devices. Enterprise users are now looking for laptops that can handle video meetings, AI workloads, multitasking, and remote collaboration without sacrificing portability or battery life.

As a result, Acer’s new TravelMate range combines Intel’s latest AI processors with features designed for modern workplaces. The company is also pushing Copilot+ PC capabilities deeper into its commercial portfolio.

The biggest highlight is the Acer TravelMate P6 14 AI. Acer positions it as a premium lightweight business laptop with advanced AI features and long battery endurance.

What Makes the Acer TravelMate P6 14 AI Stand Out?

The Acer TravelMate P6 14 AI comes with a 14-inch display and several panel options. Users can choose a 3K OLED touchscreen with HDR True Black certification, 500 nits brightness, and full DCI-P3 color coverage. Acer also offers IPS variants with variable refresh rate support.

Under the hood, the laptop runs on Intel Core Ultra Series processors, including Intel Core Ultra X7 and Ultra 7 configurations. Some variants also support Intel vPro for enterprise management.

The laptop supports up to 64GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage. Acer pairs the hardware with Intel Arc graphics for AI-assisted workloads and productivity tasks.

Alongside the P6 14 AI, Acer introduced the TravelMate P2 Spin 14. This model targets professionals who prefer flexible form factors.

The laptop features a 360-degree hinge, allowing it to switch between laptop, tablet, tent, and stand modes. Acer also added Wacom AES 2.0 stylus support, which could attract note-takers, educators, and creative professionals.

The device runs on Intel Core Series 3 processors and supports up to 16GB DDR5 RAM and 1TB SSD storage.

The TravelMate X2 15 comes with a larger 15.6-inch Full-HD display and a dedicated numeric keypad. Acer clearly designed it for spreadsheet-heavy workloads and office productivity.

Meanwhile, the TravelMate X2 14 targets users who want a more portable machine with a taller 16:10 display ratio for multitasking.

Both laptops use Intel Core Series 3 processors and include AI-assisted conferencing tools like Acer PurifiedVoice and PurifiedView. Acer also added dedicated Copilot keys, showing how deeply AI integration is now becoming part of Windows laptops.

The laptops support Wi-Fi 6E, USB Type-C connectivity, HDMI 2.1, and RJ45 Ethernet. Acer is still keeping physical connectivity alive for enterprise users who rely on legacy office setups.

Acer Is Pushing Security and Enterprise Features Hard

Security is another major part of Acer’s new TravelMate strategy.

All four laptops include TPM security chips, camera shutters, Windows Hello support, and Acer ProShield Plus security software. Some models also support optional chassis intrusion alerts.

Acer additionally includes MIL-STD 810H durability certification across multiple models. That means the laptops are designed to survive rougher working conditions, including travel-heavy environments.

Notably, Acer is also emphasizing sustainability-focused materials like OceanGlass touchpads on several models.

When Will the New Acer TravelMate Laptops Launch?

Acer says the new TravelMate laptops will roll out across North America, EMEA, and Australia starting August 2026. Availability and pricing will vary depending on the region.
