Google has officially unveiled the design of the upcoming Pixel 11 Pro, giving fans their first look at the flagship smartphone ahead of its launch. While the familiar Pixel camera bar remains, the company has introduced a new RGB lighting system called Pixel Glow, which could become one of the phone’s standout features.

The teaser also hints at deeper integration with Google’s AI ecosystem, including services such as Gmail, Google Maps, Search and Docs.

Pixel Glow brings a fresh look

The biggest visual change on the Pixel 11 Pro is the new Pixel Glow light placed next to the rear camera module.

Google has not explained exactly how the RGB light will work. However, it is expected to support notifications, AI interactions or camera-related functions. The feature gives the Pixel 11 Pro a fresh identity while retaining Google’s signature horizontal camera bar.

The teaser also showcases new colour options, with brighter finishes expected for the standard Pixel 11 and more subtle shades for the Pro models.

Tensor G6 and camera upgrades expected

Leaks suggest the Pixel 11 series will run on Google’s new Tensor G6 processor. Reports claim it will be Google’s first 2nm chipset manufactured by TSMC.

Google is also expected to increase the base storage to 256GB, replacing the 128GB variant across the lineup.

Other rumoured upgrades include a MediaTek M90 modem, Titan M3 security chip, and a new PowerVR GPU.

The camera system is also expected to receive notable improvements. The standard Pixel 11 could feature a new 50-megapixel primary camera, while the Pro models may offer upgraded primary and telephoto sensors.

Google confirms price hike

Google has already confirmed that the Pixel 11 series will cost more than the previous generation.

According to the company, rising memory prices and increasing component costs have forced it to raise prices. Google says it absorbed these costs for as long as possible before making the decision.

Despite the increase, the company plans to offer trade-in deals, promotional discounts and bundled Google One subscriptions to make the new devices more affordable.

Google has yet to announce the official pricing or launch date. However, the Pixel 11 series is expected to debut later this month.
