Anthropic has launched Claude for Small Business, a new AI-focused offering designed for smaller companies that want automation without building expensive systems from scratch. The company says the new Claude setup connects directly with tools many businesses already use and adds pre-built AI workflows across sales, finance, HR, marketing, and operations.

The move signals a bigger shift in the AI race. Until now, most advanced AI automation tools targeted large enterprises with bigger budgets and technical teams. Anthropic describes Claude for Small Business as a plug-and-play AI automation solution for SMBs. Instead of forcing companies to redesign workflows, the platform connects directly to commonly used business software.

The company introduced connectors for tools including PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, Intuit QuickBooks, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and DocuSign.

Once connected, Claude can run AI-powered workflows inside those systems. Anthropic says the platform currently supports 15 ready-made workflows built for small business use cases.

That includes finance tracking, customer support tasks, marketing operations, sales management, HR documentation, and internal operations.

The idea is simple. Small businesses often lack engineering teams, but they still want automation. Claude now aims to remove the technical barrier.
