ONMO+ cloud gaming platform is now available in the country, offering gamers access to hundreds of titles through internet streaming instead of traditional gaming hardware. The launch bundle includes a Smart Console, a Pro Controller, and a three-month subscription, all priced at Rs 4,999.
The service aims to make AAA gaming more accessible by shifting game processing to cloud servers. As a result, users can play supported games across multiple devices without investing in an expensive gaming PC or console.
What does ONMO+ cloud gaming platform offer?
Unlike traditional consoles that process games locally, ONMO+ streams games directly from remote GPU servers over the internet. This approach allows users to access games instantly without downloading or installing large files.
According to OnMobile, the platform offers hundreds of ready-to-play titles. The current lineup includes games such as The Forgotten City, Arise: A Simple Story, AO Tennis 2, and Gravity Circuit.
The Smart Console bundle also includes a dedicated Pro Controller that delivers a familiar console-style gaming experience for supported titles.
How does the Smart Console work?
The Smart Console acts as the gateway to ONMO+’s cloud gaming service rather than functioning as a standalone gaming console. Instead of relying on onboard processing power, it connects users to OnMobile’s cloud infrastructure, where games are rendered in real time.
The company says it has deployed custom-built gaming GPU servers across North India and South India. These servers were developed in partnership with AMD and AsRock Rack to reduce latency and improve gameplay performance.
ONMO+ also supports cross-platform gaming. Users can switch between compatible TVs, laptops, tablets, and smartphones while continuing their gaming sessions.
