Sony Bravia 9 II price and availability in India

The Sony Bravia 9 II 115-inch True RGB TV carries an official retail price of Rs. 45,99,900. However, Sony is offering it at a Best Buy price of Rs. 28,99,990.

Meanwhile, the newly launched Bravia 7 II 98-inch variant is available at a Best Buy price of Rs. 8,71,990.

The new TVs will soon be available through Sony Centres, Sony Exclusive Stores, ShopatSC, leading electronics retailers, and major e-commerce platforms.

RGB Backlight Master Drive powers Sony’s biggest TV

The highlight of the new Bravia 9 II is Sony’s proprietary RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro technology. Unlike conventional Mini LED TVs, the system independently controls the red, green and blue LEDs. Sony says this delivers its widest colour volume yet while improving contrast, brightness and colour precision.

The TV is powered by the BRAVIA XR Processor, which optimises picture quality by enhancing colour accuracy, contrast and realism.

The display also supports HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced content. For PlayStation 5 users, Sony includes Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Mode for an improved gaming experience. Other display technologies include X-Wide Angle Pro, Luminance Booster Pro and Smooth Colour Gradation.

12-speaker audio system and Google TV

Sony has equipped the Bravia 9 II with a 12-speaker Acoustic Multi-Audio+ system. It includes two subwoofers, eight full-range speakers and two tweeters to deliver immersive surround sound.

The TV runs Google TV out of the box. Sony also confirmed that Gemini for Google TV will roll out via a future over-the-air update, bringing AI-powered voice interactions to compatible Bravia models.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, four HDMI ports, two USB ports, Ethernet, along with RF and satellite inputs.

The launch further strengthens Sony’s premium television lineup in India as brands continue to push larger displays and AI-powered viewing experiences.
