Skullcandy has expanded its premium audio lineup in India with the launch of the Aviator 900 ANC wireless headphones. Available at an introductory price of Rs. 24,999, the new over-ear headphones offer adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), THX Spatial Audio with Head Tracking, up to 60 hours of battery life, and support for Google Fast Pair.
The headphones also feature six built-in microphones, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and a five-band custom equaliser aimed at users looking for an immersive listening experience.
Skullcandy Aviator 900 ANC price in India
The Skullcandy Aviator 900 ANC carries an MRP of Rs. 39,999. However, the company is offering the headphones at a special introductory price of Rs. 24,999.
The headphones are available through the Skullcandy India website, Amazon, Flipkart, and select offline retailers. Skullcandy has not confirmed how long the launch offer will remain valid.
Adaptive ANC, THX Spatial Audio and premium audio features
The Skullcandy Aviator 900 ANC features 40mm drivers with a frequency response range of 20Hz to 20kHz and an impedance of 36 Ohms.
For immersive audio, the headphones support THX Spatial Audio with Head Tracking. They also include Personal Sound by Mimi, which tunes the audio output based on an individual’s hearing profile.
The headphones use six built-in microphones to power adaptive Active Noise Cancellation, while the adjustable Stay-Aware Mode lets users hear surrounding sounds without removing the headphones.
Users can further personalise the listening experience using a five-band custom equaliser or choose between three preset sound modes — Music, Podcast and Bass Boost.
Up to 60 hours of battery life
Skullcandy claims the Aviator 900 ANC can deliver up to 60 hours of playback with ANC turned off. With Active Noise Cancellation enabled, the battery lasts for up to 50 hours.
The headphones also support Rapid Charge technology. A quick 10-minute charge provides up to four hours of listening time.
For connectivity, the headphones support Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio, Google Fast Pair, Google Finder, Multipoint Pairing and a 3.5mm AUX wired connection. Users also get Spotify Tap for instant access to playlists, onboard media controls and compatibility with the Skullcandy companion app.
