Samsung Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 have officially launched in India, expanding the company’s premium home audio lineup. The new Wi-Fi speakers combine AI-powered sound optimization, Wireless Dolby Atmos, SmartThings integration, and Q-Symphony support to offer a connected entertainment experience. Starting at Rs. 27,900, the speakers are available through Samsung’s online store, retail outlets, and leading e-commerce platforms.
The launch signals Samsung’s continued focus on building an interconnected home entertainment ecosystem where TVs, soundbars, and speakers work together instead of operating as standalone devices.
What do the Samsung Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 offer?
The Samsung Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 are designed by French designer Erwan Bouroullec and feature a distinctive dot-inspired design influenced by universal music symbols. While aesthetics play a role, Samsung is placing greater emphasis on smart audio capabilities.
Both speakers come equipped with AI Dynamic Bass Control, a feature that automatically optimizes low-frequency output to deliver deeper bass while reducing distortion. They also support Wireless Dolby Atmos, creating a more immersive listening experience without relying on wired connections.
Another major addition is SmartThings compatibility. Users can control speaker settings, stream music, and manage multiple speakers from a single app. This makes the speakers suitable for users already invested in Samsung’s smart home ecosystem.
How are the two speakers different?
The Samsung Music Studio 7 (LS70H) is the flagship model in the lineup. It delivers 3.1.1-channel spatial audio through dedicated left, center, right, and top-firing speakers. Samsung has also included Audio Lab Pattern Control Technology, allowing the speaker to create a wider and more immersive soundstage. It can also function as a standalone premium speaker.
The Samsung Music Studio 5 (LS50H) targets users looking for a more compact option. It features a woofer, dual tweeters, and a built-in waveguide tuned by Samsung Audio Lab. Despite its smaller footprint, it supports Wi-Fi casting, Bluetooth through Samsung Seamless Codec, voice control, and popular music streaming services.
Why does Q-Symphony matter?
One of the biggest highlights of the Samsung Music Studio series is Q-Symphony compatibility. Instead of disabling TV speakers, Q-Symphony allows compatible Samsung TVs, soundbars, and Music Studio speakers to work together simultaneously.
Samsung says users can pair up to five compatible sound devices with a supported Samsung TV. This creates a richer and more immersive surround sound experience without requiring a traditional home theater setup.
