What are the Redmi M100 specifications?
The Redmi M100 features a large 6.9-inch LCD with a 720×1,600-pixel resolution. The screen supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
It offers 675 nits of typical brightness and up to 825 nits of global brightness. The display also carries TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light emissions and flicker-free performance.
Under the hood, Redmi uses Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor. The 4nm chipset is paired with an Adreno GPU.

How big is the Redmi M100 battery?
Battery capacity is one of the biggest highlights of the Redmi M100. The smartphone packs a 7,900mAh battery and supports up to 45W wired fast charging.
More interestingly, it also supports up to 22.5W wired reverse charging. This means the Redmi M100 can supply power to compatible devices through a wired connection.
The feature effectively allows the phone to double as a backup power source for accessories or another smartphone when needed.
However, the large battery also contributes to its size. The smartphone measures 170.12×78.42×8.8mm and weighs 232 grams.
What cameras does the Redmi M100 offer?
Redmi has kept the camera setup relatively simple. The smartphone gets a 13-megapixel main camera at the back. It supports features including portrait mode, night mode and time-lapse photography.
On the front, the Redmi M100 has a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The device also supports face recognition.
Instead of emphasizing camera hardware, Redmi appears to have focused the M100 around battery capacity, a large display and everyday performance.
What connectivity features does the Redmi M100 support?
The smartphone supports 5G connectivity alongside Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1. It also gets NFC and a USB Type-C port. Navigation options include GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS and A-GPS. The phone includes an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, electronic compass and virtual distance sensor.
With its 7,900mAh battery, Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset and 120Hz display, the Redmi M100 puts battery life and screen size at the center of its proposition. Its 22.5W reverse charging also adds an unusual utility feature. For now, however, Redmi has only launched the smartphone in China, with no confirmation of an India release.
