Pova has launched the AI Buds Pro in India at Rs. 14,999. However, buyers can get the TWS earbuds for an introductory price of Rs. 12,499 for a limited period. Additionally, customers can get a Rs. 1,000 bank discount and no-cost EMI options. The Pova AI Buds Pro will go on sale from August 22 at 12pm through Amazon India and Flipkart.

AI Features Take Centre Stage

Unlike conventional TWS earbuds, the Pova AI Buds Pro focus heavily on AI-powered features. The earbuds support real-time translation across 78 languages. This could make conversations across different languages easier without requiring users to switch between separate translation apps.

The earbuds also offer an AI Meeting Summary feature. It can transcribe conversations and generate summaries from recorded discussions. For quick recordings, the charging case includes a dedicated red Quick Note button. Users can press it to start recording audio directly from the earbuds.

The earbuds offer up to four hours of onboard storage for recordings. Pova also says users retain control over their recordings, transcripts and generated summaries.

48dB ANC and Eight Microphones

The Pova AI Buds Pro also focus on calls and noise cancellation. They offer up to 48dB hybrid active noise cancellation. For voice calls, the earbuds use an eight-microphone array alongside a Voice Pickup Unit.

This setup is designed to improve voice pickup and reduce unwanted background noise during calls. The earbuds also support dual-device connectivity. Users can therefore pair them with two devices and switch between them more conveniently.

Up to 40 Hours of Battery Life

The Pova AI Buds Pro claim up to 40 hours of total playback with the charging case. The case supports both USB Type-C wired charging and Qi wireless charging. The earbuds also carry an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.

The charging case features a dual-tone design, while the earbuds combine the audio features with the AI tools that form the main focus of the product. At Rs. 12,499 during the introductory period, the Pova AI Buds Pro enter a competitive segment where AI features could help them stand apart from conventional wireless earbuds.
