Poco and Oppo have increased the prices of select smartphones in India. The latest price revisions affect the Poco X8 Pro, Poco X8 Pro Max and Oppo K13 Turbo Pro.

The Poco X8 Pro series arrived in India in March. Meanwhile, Oppo launched the K13 Turbo Pro in the country last year. The latest hikes come as several smartphone brands revise prices across their portfolios.

Poco X8 Pro Gets Up to Rs. 7,000 Price Hike

The Poco X8 Pro now starts at Rs. 39,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It previously launched at Rs. 32,999.

This means buyers now pay Rs. 7,000 more for the base model. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version has also become more expensive. Its new price stands at Rs. 42,999, compared with Rs. 35,999 at launch.

The Poco X8 Pro Max has also received a Rs. 6,000 price increase across both configurations.

The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant now costs Rs. 48,999. Its launch price stood at Rs. 42,999.

Meanwhile, the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model now costs Rs. 52,999. It originally launched at Rs. 46,999.

Both Poco X8 Pro models remain available through Flipkart in India.

Oppo K13 Turbo Pro Price Also Increased

Oppo has also raised the price of the K13 Turbo Pro. The smartphone now starts at Rs. 41,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration.

The same variant launched at Rs. 37,999. Therefore, the new price represents a Rs. 4,000 increase.

The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version now costs Rs. 44,999. Oppo had launched this configuration at Rs. 39,999.

The latest revision means both K13 Turbo Pro variants now cost Rs. 4,000 more than their launch prices.

Why Are Smartphone Prices Rising?

The latest hikes add to a broader wave of price increases in India’s smartphone market. Vivo, iQOO and OnePlus have also raised prices on select models recently.

The industry continues to face pressure from higher memory and storage component costs. DRAM and NAND shortages have pushed manufacturers to reassess pricing across existing models.

As a result, even smartphones that launched months ago are now becoming more expensive. For buyers, this also means the launch price may no longer reflect what they will actually pay for a phone today.
