The Oppo Reno 14 Series to Feature Powerful Cameras, Zoom Tech
Oppo has officially announced the launch date for its new Reno 14 Series 5G in India. The upcoming lineup will debut on July 3, with two models: Oppo Reno 14 5G and Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G. While prices will be revealed at launch, both models are expected to target the premium mid-range segment.
50MP Front Camera with Autofocus
The Reno 14 series brings a strong focus on the front camera experience. Both phones feature a 50 MP JN5 front camera with autofocus support. The Pro model supports 4K HDR video recording at 60fps using both front and rear cameras.
Advanced Quad-Camera System on Reno 14 Pro 5G
Oppo is going big on rear cameras this time. The Reno 14 Pro 5G features a 50 MP OmniVision OV50E main sensor with OIS. It also includes a 50 MP ultra-wide OV50D lens and a 50 MP telephoto JN5 sensor with 3.5x optical zoom, AI Telephoto Zoom, and up to 120x digital zoom — a first in its segment.
Reno 14 Gets Sony IMX882 Camera Sensor
The standard Reno 14 is no slouch either. It packs a 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS and an 8 MP ultra-wide lens. The setup aims to deliver solid photography performance in a more affordable package.
Smooth Performance with MediaTek Dimensity 8450
Oppo has confirmed that the Reno 14 Pro 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, which is expected to enhance AI-driven tasks, camera performance, and efficiency.
Design: Velvet Glass and Bold Colour
Both models will debut in a stylish Pearl White finish featuring Oppo’s Velvet Glass, along with Titanium Grey. The regular Reno 14 will also come in a Forest Green variant.
