Mivi has officially entered India’s smartphone market with the launch of the Mivi One 5G. The Hyderabad-based homegrown technology brand is targeting the value segment with a focus on performance, battery life and clean software.
The Mivi One 5G is positioned as a “Pretty Powerful” smartphone. It combines the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 5G platform with a 6000mAh battery, 50MP camera and Pure Android 16.
Mivi One 5G Price and Sale Date in India
The Mivi One 5G will be available through Flipkart from October 8 at midnight. The phone comes in three RAM configurations, with 128GB storage across all variants.
The regular price starts at ₹14,999 for the 4GB+128GB model. The 6GB+128GB variant costs ₹15,999, while the 8GB+128GB version is priced at ₹16,999.
During the Big Billion Day sale, however, the effective price starts at ₹11,999. The 6GB model will be available at an effective ₹13,499, while the 8GB version will cost ₹14,999. These prices include applicable bank offers listed by Mivi.
The phone will be available in Blue, Pink, Green, Burgundy and Navy Blue colour options.
Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Powers the Mivi One 5G
The Mivi One 5G gets the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 5G Mobile Platform. The chipset uses a 4nm process and is designed to balance everyday performance with power efficiency.
Mivi says the phone achieves an AnTuTu score of approximately 490,000. The company positions it for everyday multitasking, streaming, social media, gaming and other regular smartphone workloads.
The device comes with 4GB, 6GB or 8GB RAM. Each variant offers 128GB of storage, giving buyers three performance configurations at different prices.
6000mAh Battery Targets Long Usage
Battery life is another major focus of the Mivi One 5G. The smartphone packs a 6000mAh battery, which Mivi says is designed for users who spend long hours connected to their phones.
The battery supports 18W PD 2.0 charging. While the charging speed is modest compared with some newer smartphones, the large battery focuses on reducing the need for frequent charging.
The combination of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 platform and large battery also aims to support everyday usage across streaming, calls, gaming and social media.
50MP Camera and 90Hz Display
For photography, the Mivi One 5G features a 50MP primary rear camera with PDAF alongside a secondary camera. An 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The company says the camera setup is designed around everyday photography rather than only planned shots. It can also be used for portraits, social media content and regular video recording.
On the front, the smartphone features a 6.745-inch HD+ In-Cell display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also gets 2.5D cover glass and a waterdrop notch.
The phone measures 9.15mm in thickness and weighs 210g. It uses a 2.5D PMMA rear panel and a front cover made using PC and an injection-moulded aluminium-titanium alloy. IP64 protection adds resistance against dust and splashes.
Pure Android 16 and Mivi ClearTalk
Software is another part of Mivi’s smartphone strategy. The Mivi One 5G runs Pure Android 16 without unnecessary bloatware and is promised updates through Android 18.
Mivi has also brought its audio expertise to phone calls through Mivi ClearTalk. It uses the Mivi Neural Voice Engine to isolate the user’s voice from background sounds such as traffic, wind, conversations and music.
The company says this technology is designed to make calls clearer in noisy environments. Mivi One also comes with a one-year warranty and access to more than 500 service centres across India.
Mivi offers free pick-and-drop service across more than 19,000 pin codes, with a seven-day replacement policy under its “Replaced, not repaired” promise.
Mivi’s First Step Into Smartphones
The Mivi One 5G is manufactured in India and marks a major expansion beyond the company’s established audio portfolio. Mivi says the smartphone launch comes as it enters its second decade.
The company also plans to deepen its smartphone capabilities in India. Mivi has stated that it aims to design an indigenously engineered smartphone within the next 12 months while expanding its capabilities across design, engineering and manufacturing.
With the Mivi One 5G, the company is now entering one of India’s most competitive smartphone segments. Its first phone combines 5G connectivity, a large battery, clean Android software and multiple RAM options while keeping the effective Big Billion Day starting price below ₹12,000.
