Milagrow has launched the iMap G5 Ultra in India as a fully autonomous wet and dry robotic vacuum cleaner. The new robot combines high suction power, LiDAR-based navigation, long battery life and a self-emptying dock.
Milagrow iMap G5 Ultra price in India
The Milagrow iMap G5 Ultra carries an introductory price of Rs. 39,990 in India. It is available through Milagrow’s website, Amazon India and Vijay Sales.
The robotic vacuum comes with a one-year warranty. Its suction motor gets an additional two-year warranty.
Milagrow says the iMap G5 Ultra is assembled in India. The company has designed it for larger homes where regular vacuuming and mopping can become time-consuming.
22,000Pa suction and 300-minute runtime
The iMap G5 Ultra uses a brushless motor that delivers up to 22,000Pa of suction power. Milagrow says the robot can pick up fine dust, crumbs, pet hair and embedded dirt from hard floors and carpets.
The robot also features a floating main brush. This helps maintain contact with the floor, including uneven surfaces.
Its iBoost technology can detect carpets automatically. The robot then increases suction to tackle dirt trapped in carpet fibres.
Powering the cleaner is a 6,400mAh EV-grade battery. Milagrow claims up to 300 minutes of continuous cleaning on a single charge. The company says this is enough to clean homes covering up to 5,000 square feet.
LiDAR and laser navigation
Navigation is another major focus of the iMap G5 Ultra.
The robot combines RT²R 4.0 line-laser navigation with LDS LiDAR and SLAM mapping. It can scan its surroundings in 360 degrees and create maps of the home.
The system is designed to identify obstacles and plan cleaning routes. This should help reduce missed areas and unnecessary passes during cleaning.
The robot can store multiple floor maps. Users can also create unlimited virtual walls and restricted zones through the mobile app.
The app provides real-time cleaning updates, giving users a view of the robot’s cleaning progress.
Wet and dry cleaning in one robot
The iMap G5 Ultra is designed for both vacuuming and mopping. Its electronically controlled water tank regulates water flow during wet cleaning.
Milagrow says the robot can clean surfaces including marble, tiles, hardwood, linoleum and glass-finish floors. It can also transition between different floor surfaces and levels using anti-slip wheels.
The robot uses 32 smart sensors to support navigation and safety. These include obstacle sensors, cliff detection, a gyroscope, an accelerometer and dirt detection.
Its anti-fall system can detect steps higher than 10cm. The anti-collision system is designed to recognise furniture and other obstacles.
Self-emptying dock reduces manual cleaning
The iMap G5 Ultra also comes with a self-emptying dock.
After completing a cleaning cycle, the robot automatically transfers collected debris into a sealed 3.5-litre disposable dust bag.
Milagrow claims the bag can provide up to 90 days of hands-free dust disposal. This reduces the need to manually empty the robot after every cleaning session.
The robot also features a HEPA filter. It is designed to capture fine dust, allergens and airborne pollutants during cleaning.
Supports Indian languages
Milagrow has also focused on language support. The iMap G5 Ultra supports English, German and Russian, along with several Indian languages.
These include Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Bangla.
The combination of app controls, multi-floor mapping and language support is aimed at making the robot easier to use across Indian households.
