Lava Smart 4 Plus Price in India

The phone comes in a single configuration with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

The smartphone is priced at Rs 9,999 and is available in two color options:

  • Nilgiri Blue
  • Himalayan Silver

Unlike many online-exclusive launches, Lava is focusing on offline retail availability, making the device accessible to buyers across the country.

What Does the Lava Smart 4 Plus Offer?

The Lava Smart 4 Plus features a large 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. While Full HD panels are still uncommon in this price segment, the higher refresh rate should provide smoother scrolling and a better overall user experience compared to standard 60Hz displays.

Powering the smartphone is the octa-core Unisoc 9863A processor paired with 4GB of RAM.

Lava also includes virtual RAM support, allowing users to expand the available memory up to 8GB by using unused internal storage. The phone ships with 64GB of storage, which should be sufficient for everyday apps, photos, and media.

Android 15 Go Out of the Box

One of the biggest highlights is the software.

The phone runs Android 15 Go Edition, Google’s lightweight operating system designed for entry-level smartphones.

The Go Edition is optimized to deliver smoother performance on devices with modest hardware while keeping apps lightweight and responsive.

Lava has also promised two years of security updates, offering users better long-term software support than many budget smartphones in this price range.

Camera and Battery

For photography, the Lava Smart 4 Plus features an AI-backed dual rear camera setup led by a 13-megapixel primary sensor. While Lava has not revealed details about the secondary camera, the phone is expected to handle everyday photography and document scanning comfortably.

On the front, users get a 5-megapixel selfie camera for video calls and casual selfies.

Keeping the device powered is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging through a USB Type-C port.

Although charging speeds remain modest, the battery capacity should comfortably deliver all-day usage for most users.

IP64 Rating Adds Extra Durability

Budget smartphones often skip durability features, but Lava has included an IP64 rating on the Smart 4 Plus.

This means the device offers protection against dust and water splashes, making it more durable for daily use than many competitors in the under-Rs 10,000 segment.

Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

Should You Buy the Lava Smart 4 Plus?

The sub-Rs 10,000 smartphone segment remains one of India’s most competitive markets, with buyers prioritizing battery life, software experience, display quality, and after-sales support.

The phone checks several important boxes by offering a smooth 90Hz display, Android 15 Go, a large battery, IP64 protection, and guaranteed security updates.

While its Unisoc processor targets everyday tasks rather than heavy gaming, the phone appears well-suited for students, senior citizens, first-time smartphone users, and anyone looking for a dependable daily driver without crossing the Rs 10,000 mark.

With the added advantage of Lava’s doorstep service, the Smart 4 Plus strengthens the company’s value-focused portfolio in India’s budget smartphone market.
