iQOO has expanded its Z-series in India with the launch of the iQOO Z11x 5G. The new smartphone targets users who want strong battery endurance, gaming-focused performance and a durable design without moving into the ultra-premium segment.
The biggest highlight is undoubtedly the battery. The Z11x 5G packs a 7,200mAh battery, while the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo handles performance.
The phone starts at Rs. 28,999, although customers can get a net effective price of Rs. 27,499. Sales will begin on September 14 at 12 noon.

The iQOO Z11x 5G comes in an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration.

The smartphone comes in Titan Black and Prismatic Green.
Customers can purchase it through Amazon.in, iQOO.com, select vivo exclusive stores and other retail outlets from September 14 at 12 noon.
On iQOO.com, buyers can get a Rs. 1,500 coupon discount with select ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank credit cards. The company also offers up to six months of no-cost EMI.
Dimensity 7400-Turbo powers the phone
The Z11x 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo, built on a 4nm process.
The chipset combines four Cortex-A78 performance cores with four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. iQOO claims an AnTuTu score of more than 890,000.
The phone comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. Users can also add up to 8GB of Extended RAM.
For gamers, iQOO has included features such as Monster Mode, Dual 10x Super Touch Control, a Customizable Game Timer and Gaming HyperSense Audio. In-game notifications and a Game Voice Changer are also available.
Meanwhile, AI SuperLink aims to improve network stability. The phone also supports Bluetooth 5.4 and dual stereo speakers with up to 400% volume.
7,200mAh battery is the main attraction
Battery life is where the Z11x 5G makes its strongest case.
Its 7,200mAh battery is designed for extended use. iQOO claims up to 40 hours of video playback, 15.4 hours of gaming and 10.7 hours of continuous live streaming under single-app usage conditions.
The phone supports 44W FlashCharge. According to iQOO, a 10-minute charge can provide up to six hours of talk time. The battery can go from 1% to 50% in 43 minutes and reach 100% in 91 minutes.
The phone also supports bypass charging. This feature can supply power directly during use, which can help reduce heat while gaming.
In addition, Overnight Charging Protection learns charging patterns and can pause charging at 80% before completing the charge closer to the user’s usual wake-up time. iQOO says the battery is designed to retain dependable health for up to six years.
120Hz FHD+ LCD display
The Z11x 5G features a 6.76-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 2344 x 1080-pixel resolution.
The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, making scrolling and animations smoother. It can also reach up to 1,200 nits in High Brightness Mode, which should help with outdoor visibility.
iQOO has added several eye-care features. These include TÃœV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification, Eye Comfort and Sleep Comfort Mode.
For users who experience discomfort while viewing a phone in a moving vehicle, the smartphone also offers Anti-Motion Sickness Mode with on-screen movement cues.
50MP Sony camera and 32MP selfie camera
Photography is handled by a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera alongside a 2MP bokeh camera.
The front gets a 32MP camera. Both the front and rear cameras can record 4K video at 30fps, with EIS available for smoother footage.
The camera software also includes AI Erase, AI UHD and Ultra HD Document tools. Other features include Live Photo, Underwater Photography, Smart Editing, Dual-View Video and 4K video-to-Live Photo conversion.
Built for durability
The iQOO Z11x 5G comes with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance.
The company also claims military-grade durability. The phone supports wet-hand and greasy-hand touch, while a one-tap water and dust ejection feature adds another layer of convenience.
OriginOS 6 based on Android 16
The smartphone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
The software includes AI-focused features such as Circle to Search, AI Captions, AI Creation and AI Transcript Assist. Screen Translation, Free Transfer and Private Space are also part of the software package.
OriginOS 6 also brings features such as Origin Island with Drag & Go and Copy & Go. System optimisations including Ultra-Core Computing, Dual Rendering and Memory Fusion are designed to improve multitasking.
iQOO promises two years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates.
Made in India
The iQOO Z11x 5G will be manufactured at vivo’s Greater Noida facility. iQOO also says customers can access more than 700 company-owned service centres across India for after-sales support.
