iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya shared the schedule on X. The timeline gives users an indication of when to expect the update, although the rollout may vary by device and model variant.

The update will also reach eligible Vivo smartphones in India during the same period. However, iQOO’s schedule does not cover carrier-exclusive models, which may follow a separate rollout.

OriginOS 7 rollout schedule: October to December 2026

The iQOO 15 is first in line to receive OriginOS 7. The company expects to roll out the update by the end of October 2026.

The iQOO 15R and iQOO 13 are scheduled to receive the software by mid-November. Owners of these devices can expect the rollout to follow the flagship iQOO 15.

The next phase will cover the iQOO 12, iQOO Neo 10 and iQOO Neo 10R. These phones are expected to receive OriginOS 7 by mid-December 2026.

Here is the rollout schedule for the first three phases:

  • By the end of October 2026: iQOO 15
  • By mid-November 2026: iQOO 15R, iQOO 13
  • By mid-December 2026: iQOO 12, iQOO Neo 10, iQOO Neo 10R

iQOO phones scheduled for OriginOS 7 in January 2027

The rollout will expand to several Neo and Z series phones in January 2027. iQOO expects the update to reach these devices by the end of the month.

The eligible models listed for this phase include the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, iQOO Z11 5G, iQOO Z11x 5G, iQOO Z10 5G and iQOO Z10R 5G.

This phase extends the update beyond the company’s flagship and newer Neo models. However, the schedule does not specify individual rollout dates for each phone.

The January phase includes five devices, giving owners of these models a clearer window for planning around the software update.

iQOO Z10x 5G update expected in February 2027

The iQOO Z10x 5G is scheduled to receive OriginOS 7 by the end of February 2027. It is the last model named in the current iQOO rollout schedule.

OriginOS 7 features: AI tools and multitasking upgrades

OriginOS 7 is expected to bring a refreshed interface, new themes and dynamic wallpapers. It will also introduce improvements to multitasking, including the ability to run multiple apps in separate windows.

The update is expected to add AI-powered file search. Users will be able to describe the files they need instead of relying only on manual browsing. Vivo’s Jovi assistant will also offer tools to summarise documents and manage tasks.

Other reported additions include AI call answering and call summaries. The Snap & Go feature can identify travel or event details in screenshots and suggest adding them to the calendar.

Eligible devices will also receive tools for sharing files across devices. Users will be able to use a compatible Vivo phone as a webcam for a PC.

Security is another focus. OriginOS 7 is expected to include tools that flag malicious apps, unsafe links and spam calls.

The final experience may vary across devices, depending on hardware support and software implementation. Users should wait for the update to arrive on their specific model before assuming every feature will be available.

How to prepare for the OriginOS 7 update

Users whose phones appear on the rollout list should keep their devices updated and check the system update section when their scheduled window approaches.

Before installing a major software update, back up important data and ensure the phone has sufficient battery charge and storage space. A stable Wi-Fi connection can also help with downloading the update.

The rollout is expected to continue through February 2027. For now, iQOO has provided a phased schedule rather than exact dates for individual devices, so availability may differ across users.
