boAt is expanding its consumer technology portfolio beyond its established audio business. The company has launched the Apex Powerbank Series in India, bringing four new charging products to its lineup.
The new range includes the Apex PB400, Apex PB400 Pro, Apex PB445 and Apex PB332 MagnaCharge. The series targets different charging needs, from high-capacity backup and fast wired charging to magnetic wireless charging.
Prices start at ₹1,999 for the Apex PB332 MagnaCharge. The range goes up to ₹2,899 for the flagship Apex PB445.
The launch comes as boAt continues to build a broader consumer technology portfolio spanning wearables, projectors, personal grooming and charging solutions.
Four powerbanks target different charging needs
The Apex range is built around the idea of providing different charging options rather than offering a single powerbank for every user.
The Apex PB445 sits at the top of the lineup. It features a 20,000mAh battery and supports 45W two-way Turbo Fast Charging. It also supports QC 3.0, Power Delivery and PPS.
The powerbank comes with a built-in two-way Type-C cable. It also has a Type-C port and USB-A port, allowing users to charge multiple compatible devices.
The Apex PB400 also packs a 20,000mAh battery. However, it supports 22.5W two-way wired fast charging. It includes QC 3.0, Power Delivery and PPS support.
Like the PB445, the PB400 has a built-in two-way Type-C cable. It also offers Type-C and USB-A ports for multi-device charging.
PB400 Pro adds a digital battery display
The Apex PB400 Pro combines a 20,000mAh capacity with 22.5W two-way wired fast charging.
It gets a built-in two-way Type-C cable for easier charging on the go. The model also features a glass top and a digital battery-status display.
This allows users to check the remaining power without relying on an approximate battery indicator.
The design is aimed at users who want a higher-capacity powerbank without carrying additional charging cables.
MagnaCharge brings magnetic wireless charging
The most distinct model in the range is the Apex PB332 MagnaCharge.
It features a 10,000mAh battery with 15W magnetic wireless charging. It also supports 22.5W two-way wired fast charging.
A built-in foldable stand lets users keep a compatible smartphone upright while charging. This can be useful for watching videos, taking calls or using a phone on a desk.
boAt also includes a MagnaCharge Ring for adding magnetic charging compatibility to suitable devices and cases.
The powerbank gets a USB-A output and a soft-touch anti-slip body.
boAt wants charging to become part of its wider ecosystem
The Apex launch marks another step in boAt’s attempt to move beyond personal audio.
The company has increasingly expanded into categories that sit around consumers’ daily technology habits. Charging fits naturally into this strategy as users carry smartphones, earbuds, smartwatches and other connected devices throughout the day.
With the Apex range, boAt is also focusing on convenience features. These include built-in Type-C cables, multiple outputs, fast charging, digital displays and magnetic wireless charging.
The approach gives the company products aimed at commuters, travellers, multi-device users and consumers looking for simpler everyday charging.
