The company says the device focuses on balancing design, portability, and everyday usability. It also arrives after the reported strong demand for the Nova 2 series, including the Nova 2 and Nova 2 Ultra.
Madhav Sheth, CEO of Ai+ Smartphone and Founder of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, called the launch a “category shift” and said the goal was to make flip phones more accessible in India.

The Ai+ NovaFlip 5G comes with a 6.9-inch Full HD+ AMOLED inner display. On the outside, it features a 3.0-inch AMOLED cover screen for notifications, controls, and quick interactions.
Under the hood, the device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor. It is paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The phone ships with Android 15-based NxtQuantum OS.
For photography, the device packs a 50MP rear camera. It also includes a 32MP front camera with autofocus. The company says the setup is designed for both folded and unfolded shooting scenarios.
The smartphone weighs 193g and supports dual SIM 5G+5G connectivity. Other features include NFC, Wi-Fi 6 tri-band support, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a hall sensor-enabled flip-aware interface.

Ai+ Smartphone has equipped the NovaFlip 5G with a 4,325mAh battery. The company claims up to 310 hours of 5G standby and 19.5 hours of VoNR talk time.
The phone also supports 33W fast charging through a USB Type-C port with PD3.0 and PPS support. When folded, the device measures 87.3x76x15.6mm. Once opened, it expands to 169.4x76x7.5mm.
