ASUS Chromebook CX14 launches in India for students and educators
ASUS has launched the Chromebook CX14 in India with a starting price of ₹18,990. Designed for students and educators, this budget Chromebook runs on Intel hardware and focuses on security, cloud-based productivity, and durability.
Titan security chip ensures safer learning
To enhance security, ASUS includes a dedicated Titan security chip in the Chromebook CX14. This chip helps protect user data and ensures a safer experience for students. Additionally, users get access to Google Workspace and 100 GB of Google cloud storage for collaboration and backups.
Built to last with durable design
Weighing around 1.39 kg, the CX14 features U.S. military-grade durability, making it ideal for school environments. Furthermore, ASUS adds a wear-resistant paint coating, which helps maintain the laptop’s appearance over time. The 180-degree hinge allows the device to lay flat, offering flexibility during group activities or presentations.
14-inch FHD screen with bright visuals
The Chromebook CX14 includes a 14-inch Full HD display that reaches up to 300 nits brightness, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use. This screen size and resolution combination ensures comfortable reading, streaming, and browsing.
Efficient performance with Intel processor
Under the hood, the device runs on an Intel Celeron N4500 processor, paired with up to 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM. Users also get up to 128 GB eMMC storage and Intel UHD graphics, enabling smooth performance for web-based tasks, video calls, and learning tools. Because it runs on ChromeOS, updates happen in the background and boot times stay fast.
Multiple ports for connectivity
ASUS equips the Chromebook CX14 with the following ports:
- 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C
- 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
- 1 x HDMI 1.4
- 1 x 3.5mm combo audio jack
- 1 x Kensington lock hole
These ports allow users to connect accessories, external displays, and audio devices without extra dongles.
Reliable battery life for all-day learning
The laptop includes a 42 Whr battery, which supports long hours of usage. Whether students attend virtual classes or browse learning resources, the battery is expected to last through the day.

ASUS offers two variants of the Chromebook CX14, priced at ₹18,990 and ₹20,990. Both models are available starting today. Meanwhile, the third variant (model CX1405CKA-S60394) will go live soon on Amazon India.
