Razer Hammerhead V3 Chroma wired gaming earphones have launched with active noise cancellation (ANC), customisable RGB lighting and a dedicated multi-driver audio setup. Priced at $79.99 (roughly Rs. 7,000), the new earphones target gamers who prefer a wired USB Type-C connection over wireless audio.

The Hammerhead V3 Chroma pairs an 11mm dynamic driver with a dedicated 6mm tweeter in each earphone. Razer has also added feed-forward ANC, an in-line microphone and support for THX Surround Sound 7.1 on PC. The earphones carry an IPX4 rating for resistance against water splashes.

Razer Hammerhead V3 Chroma price and availability

Razer has priced the Hammerhead V3 Chroma at $79.99 in the US, which converts to approximately Rs. 7,000. The wired earphones are available through the Razer official website and select retail stores.

Razer has not announced an India price or local availability in the supplied launch details. The approximate rupee conversion does not represent an official India retail price.

Razer Hammerhead V3 Chroma features and specifications

The earphones use an 11mm main dynamic driver alongside a 6mm tweeter. Razer lists a frequency response range of 20Hz to 28kHz and an impedance of 32 ohms. Their sensitivity is rated at 106dBSPL by HATS, while the maximum input power reaches 10mW.

Feed-forward active noise cancellation is designed to reduce surrounding noise during gaming and everyday listening. On PC, users can enable THX Surround Sound 7.1 through Razer Synapse 4. The feature aims to improve positional awareness by creating a more immersive surround sound experience.

The Hammerhead V3 Chroma also features Razer’s Chroma RGB lighting system. Users can customise the lighting across 16.8 million colours. The earphones include four preset equaliser profiles and one additional customisable EQ profile. This gives listeners some control over the sound signature for different games and content.

For communication, Razer has included an in-line remote with an omnidirectional microphone. The microphone has a signal-to-noise ratio of 63dB and a sensitivity rating of -26dB at 1kHz. The remote lets users manage audio and voice communication without reaching for their connected device.

USB Type-C connection, IPX4 rating and design

The Razer Hammerhead V3 Chroma uses a wired USB Type-C connector with a 90-degree angled plug. Its cable measures 1.2 metres, while the earphones weigh 27.1 grams. The angled connector may help reduce strain when users connect the earphones to a phone, laptop or gaming device.

The IPX4 rating means the earphones can handle water splashes from different directions. However, this rating does not make them waterproof or suitable for submersion. The wired design also means users need a compatible USB Type-C port or an appropriate adapter.

With ANC, dual-driver audio, RGB customisation and PC-focused surround sound, Razer is positioning the Hammerhead V3 Chroma as a feature-rich wired gaming option. Its appeal will depend on how well its audio tuning and noise cancellation perform in everyday use. Indian buyers will also have to wait for confirmed local pricing and availability.
