Acer TravelLite TL44-53M-G2: Price and availability
Acer has not revealed the India price of the TravelLite TL44-53M-G2. The company says it will be available through its commercial and enterprise channels in the country.
The final specifications and pricing may depend on the configurations offered to business customers. Acer has not confirmed which processor, memory and storage combinations will be available in India.
Acer TravelLite TL44-53M-G2: Features and specifications
The laptop features a 14-inch Full HD IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and up to 300 nits of brightness. The taller screen format provides additional vertical space for documents, spreadsheets and web pages. Its narrow bezels also contribute to a more compact design.
The TravelLite TL44-53M-G2 runs on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors. Acer has not specified the exact processor options for the Indian market. It supports up to 128GB of dual-channel DDR5 RAM, although the memory configuration available to buyers remains unconfirmed.
For storage, the laptop includes two M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD slots. One slot supports PCIe 5.0 x4, according to the company. This gives businesses flexibility when configuring storage capacity and upgrading compatible components.
The laptop also includes a 5-megapixel infrared webcam with Windows Hello support. This enables compatible facial recognition for signing into Windows. Stereo speakers, DTS Audio and noise-cancelling microphones support video meetings and online collaboration.
Thunderbolt connectivity and enterprise security
Connectivity is another focus of the TravelLite TL44-53M-G2. It has two USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt, DisplayPort and USB charging support. The laptop also supports Intel Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, although wireless features may vary by configuration.
Intel vPro technology allows IT teams to manage compatible devices remotely, troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance. Its hardware-assisted security features also help businesses protect devices and data. These capabilities can be particularly useful for organisations managing laptops across multiple offices.
Acer has equipped the laptop with an aluminium chassis and a hinge that opens up to 180 degrees. The device measures less than 18mm thick and weighs under 1.4kg. It also carries MIL-STD 810H certification, which relates to durability testing under specified conditions.
The TravelLite TL44-53M-G2 could suit organisations seeking a lightweight business laptop with enterprise management features. However, its overall value will depend on the Indian pricing, processor options and memory configurations Acer eventually offers.
