Nothing has expanded its smartphone lineup in India with new base variants for the Phone (4a) and Phone (4b).

Both smartphones now offer a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. Previously, the base configuration started with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The new variants therefore create a lower entry point within both smartphone lineups. However, the company has also increased prices across the existing models.

Nothing Phone (4a), Phone (4b) New Variant Price

The Nothing Phone (4a) 6GB + 128GB variant costs Rs. 39,999 in India. Meanwhile, the new Phone (4b) 6GB + 128GB variant costs Rs. 35,999.

Both smartphones are currently available through Flipkart.

For comparison, the Nothing Phone (4b) also comes in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations. These models cost Rs. 39,999 and Rs. 40,999, respectively.

The Phone (4a), meanwhile, comes in 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB configurations. Its top-end model costs Rs. 50,999.

The new Phone (4a) base variant comes in Black, Blue and White. Notably, Nothing reserves the Pink colour option for the higher-end configurations.

The Phone (4b) also comes in Black, Blue and White.

Nothing Phone (4a) Specifications

The Nothing Phone (4a) retains the same specifications across its new configuration.

It features a 6.78-inch LTPS flexible AMOLED display. The panel offers a 1,224 x 2,720-pixel resolution and supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

In addition, the display can reach up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness. It also supports up to a 2,500Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate in gaming mode.

The phone uses 2,160Hz PWM dimming and gets Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

Under the hood, the Phone (4a) runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. It supports up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

For power, the smartphone packs a 5,400mAh battery.

Nothing Phone (4b) Specifications

The Nothing Phone (4b) features a slightly smaller 6.77-inch Full-HD+ Samsung Super AMOLED display.

The screen has a 1,080 x 2,344-pixel resolution and supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Meanwhile, a 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset powers the smartphone. The Phone (4b) also features a 6,000mAh battery.

Another notable feature is Nothing’s Glyph Bar interface.

Both phones support dual-SIM connectivity. Furthermore, they run Android 16 with Nothing OS 4.1.

New 6GB Options Expand Nothing’s Lineup

The new configurations give buyers another RAM and storage option across the Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone (4b) range.

At the same time, the core specifications remain unchanged. Therefore, buyers choosing the new variants get the same displays, chipsets, software and batteries as the existing models.

The main difference comes from the lower 6GB RAM configuration.

With the new variants, Nothing now offers more configuration choices across its two smartphone models. The Phone (4a) starts at Rs. 39,999, while the Phone (4b) starts at Rs. 35,999.
