Vivo has launched its new X500 series in China. The lineup includes the Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max.

The new phones target different segments of the flagship market. However, the Pro models share Vivo’s latest 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset.

The lineup also brings large batteries, high-refresh-rate AMOLED displays and Zeiss-powered cameras. Vivo has also pushed the camera capabilities further on the Pro Max.

The phones will initially be sold in China through the Vivo online store.

Vivo X500 Series Price in China

The Vivo X500 starts at CNY 5,499. This is roughly Rs 79,000.

The base model comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Vivo also offers 12GB + 512GB and 12GB + 1TB versions.

These variants cost CNY 5,999 and CNY 6,999, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Vivo X500 Pro starts at CNY 6,499. The phone comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage in its base configuration.

The Vivo X500 Pro Max starts at CNY 6,999. Its top configuration reaches CNY 8,999.

The Pro Max also gets a 16GB + 1TB Creator Kit configuration.

Vivo X500 Pro Max Gets a 200MP Telephoto Camera

Camera performance remains a major focus across the X500 lineup.

The Vivo X500 features a Zeiss-tuned triple-camera setup. It combines a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera.

A 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera handles zoom photography. The phone supports up to 3.1x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.

The Vivo X500 Pro also gets a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

However, the Vivo X500 Pro Max takes things further. It features a 200-megapixel telephoto camera alongside its 50-megapixel main and ultrawide cameras.

Both Pro models can record video at up to 4K resolution and 240fps.

Dimensity 9600 Pro Powers the Pro Models

The Vivo X500 Pro and Pro Max use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset.

The chip is built using a 2nm process. It reaches a peak clock speed of 4.55GHz.

Both phones also feature the Mali-G2-Ultra-NX GPU. They use Vivo’s V3+ and VS1 Blueprint Image Chips for imaging.

The phones offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM. Storage goes up to 1TB using UFS 4.1.

The standard Vivo X500 uses a different chip. It runs on the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600M with a peak clock speed of 4.21GHz.

Large Batteries Power the Vivo X500 Lineup

Battery capacity is another major highlight.

The Vivo X500 packs a 7,500mAh battery. It supports 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.

The Vivo X500 Pro gets a 6,510mAh battery. It also supports 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.

The Pro Max goes even larger with an 8,000mAh battery. It supports the same 90W wired and 40W wireless charging system.

AMOLED Displays and OriginOS 7

The Vivo X500 features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR and a 300Hz touch sampling rate.

The Vivo X500 Pro has a slightly smaller 6.36-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen.

The Pro Max gets the largest display in the lineup. It features a 6.85-inch 2K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 507ppi density.

All three phones run Vivo’s Android 17-based OriginOS 7. They also feature dual-SIM support.

The Vivo X500 series also carries IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance.

Vivo X500 Series Sale Date in China

The Vivo X500 and Vivo X500 Pro Max will go on sale in China on September 24.

The Vivo X500 Pro will follow on September 29.

All three models will be sold through the Vivo China online store.
