BRKZ Raises $31 Million to Scale AI-Powered Construction Procurement

News in Short

  • Saudi Arabia-based BRKZ has raised $31 million in fresh capital.
  • The funding includes a $13 million Series B equity round and $18 million in growth debt.
  • Wa’ed Ventures and 500 Global co-led the Series B.
  • BRKZ plans to expand its AI-powered pricing and fulfilment engine.
  • The company is also developing embedded financing for contractors and suppliers.

Saudi Arabia-based construction procurement platform BRKZ has secured $31 million in new capital as it looks to expand its AI-powered platform across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.

The funding combines a $13 million Series B equity round with an $18 million growth debt commitment. Wa’ed Ventures, the venture capital arm of Aramco, and 500 Global co-led the equity round. BECO Capital and Anb Seed Fund also participated.

Existing financing partner Stride Ventures is providing the $18 million debt commitment under BRKZ’s previously announced $30 million venture debt facility.

The company plans to use the new funding to improve AI-driven pricing and fulfilment, expand its supply chain operations and introduce more embedded financing options for contractors and suppliers.

BRKZ Revenue Expected to Triple in 2026

The funding comes as BRKZ reports strong business growth.

The company says its revenue is on track to triple in 2026, after growing 2.5 times year-on-year in 2025. This growth has continued despite supply-chain and geopolitical disruptions across the Middle East.

BRKZ operates a digital procurement platform for building materials. It connects contractors, distributors, factories and suppliers through a single procurement relationship.

The company handles several parts of the process, including sourcing, pricing, quality assurance, logistics and commercial terms.

This is particularly relevant in construction, where material procurement can involve multiple suppliers, manual price negotiations and fragmented logistics.

Platform Has Processed $1.37 Billion in RFQs

BRKZ has already built a sizeable network around its platform.

The company currently serves more than 1,500 contracting companies and 150 building materials factories, supported by approximately 2,100 local and international suppliers.

Since its inception, BRKZ says it has sold more than $133 million (SAR 500 million) worth of raw, local and imported building materials.

Its platform has also processed more than $1.37 billion (SAR 5.13 billion) in requests for quotations, or RFQs.

The company supplies contractors involved in major developments such as The Red Sea Project, Diriyah, Qiddiya, ROSHN and King Salman Park.

AI Pricing Engine Uses 40,000 RFQs

A major focus of the new funding is BRKZ’s AI infrastructure.

The company says it has spent three years building a proprietary dataset containing around 38 million structured data points across more than 13,000 product records and 2,100 supplier profiles.

That data now powers an AI pricing engine trained on approximately 40,000 RFQs.

The system can predict buying and selling prices and recommend suitable suppliers for individual orders.

BRKZ says between 84% and 89% of its predictions fall within 5% of the final transaction price. This allows the company to turn what was traditionally a manual pricing process into a near-instant workflow, while procurement teams continue to have final oversight.

AI Agents Are Also Handling Deliveries

BRKZ is using AI beyond pricing.

One example is Nusa, its delivery agent. Nusa processes bulk-cement deliveries by reading delivery-note photos sent by transporters through WhatsApp.

It can match the information with existing orders, verify quantities and close completed deliveries. Employees intervene when the system identifies exceptions.

BRKZ says roughly three-quarters of delivery notes are now processed without manual intervention.

AI is also being used to assist with payment-term decisions. The system draws on BRKZ’s historical payment-behaviour data, while the company’s finance team retains final approval.

New Funding to Expand Across Saudi Arabia and GCC

BRKZ says the fresh capital will support three main areas.

First, the company plans to expand its AI capabilities across quotations, pricing and fulfilment. The goal is to automate more parts of the procurement process.

Second, BRKZ plans to deepen its vertical integration across the supply chain. This includes moving further from raw-material sourcing through to last-mile delivery.

Third, the company plans to expand its cross-border sourcing and trading operations.

BRKZ specifically plans to build stronger supply corridors with China, India and other major manufacturing markets. This will include specialty and private-label building materials.

The move could give contractors access to a broader supplier base while helping BRKZ improve material availability, pricing and sourcing flexibility.

BRKZ Has Raised More Than $70 Million

The latest investment follows a strategic investment from SIC, the investment arm of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, earlier in 2026.

That investment reflected support for BRKZ’s efforts to digitise procurement, strengthen local supply chains and contribute to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 industrial objectives.

With the latest funding, BRKZ says it has now raised more than $70 million in total capital since inception across equity and debt.

The company also remains open to additional strategic investors joining its Series B.

What This Means for Construction Procurement

BRKZ’s latest funding highlights how construction procurement is increasingly becoming a technology opportunity in the Middle East.

The company’s strategy goes beyond simply putting suppliers and buyers on a digital marketplace. Its AI systems are being used for pricing, supplier selection, delivery processing and payment decisions.

With construction activity continuing at significant scale across Saudi Arabia, BRKZ is now looking to turn the data and supply network it has built into a larger AI-enabled procurement infrastructure across the region.
