Apple is giving its iCloud+ subscription a major upgrade in India. The company has started rolling out a new benefit that bundles Apple TV and Apple Arcade with iCloud+ without requiring users to pay for separate subscriptions.

This means an iCloud+ subscriber in India can now get cloud storage, Apple’s streaming service and its gaming catalogue under one subscription.

The change is rolling out this month in India and more than 100 other countries.

For Indian users, the entry point remains relatively affordable. iCloud+ starts at Rs. 75 per month for 50GB of storage, making the new Apple TV and Apple Arcade benefits particularly interesting for people who already pay for additional iCloud storage.

iCloud+ Price in India

Apple currently offers three main iCloud+ storage plans in India:

iCloud+ PlanMonthly PriceStorage
BasicRs. 7550GB
StandardRs. 219200GB
PremiumRs. 7492TB

Along with storage, the plans include features such as iCloud Private Relay, Hide My Email, Apple Invite and Custom HomeKit Secure Video.

Users can also share their iCloud+ subscription with up to five other family members through Apple’s Family Sharing feature.

The important change is that Apple TV and Apple Arcade are now included without an additional subscription charge.

Apple TV Is Now Included

With the updated iCloud+ plans, subscribers can access Apple’s library of original shows, films and documentaries through Apple TV.

The catalogue includes popular titles such as Ted Lasso, The Studio, Severance, Pluribus and CODA.

Apple TV content can be accessed through the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Users can also watch it on Apple TV 4K devices, compatible smart TVs and gaming consoles.

For someone who already pays Rs. 75 or more every month for iCloud storage, this could make the subscription considerably more useful.

More Than 200 Apple Arcade Games

Apple is also adding Apple Arcade to iCloud+.

Subscribers get access to a catalogue of more than 200 games. The library includes titles such as Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Cooking Mama: Cuisine!, Sneaky Sasquatch, Angry Birds Reloaded, Football Manager 26 Touch and NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition.

The games are available without advertisements or in-app purchases. They can also be played offline.

Apple Arcade titles can be accessed on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV 4K.

Is iCloud+ Now Better Value?

The biggest change is not the storage itself. It is what Apple is building around that storage.

Earlier, users were essentially paying for extra cloud space and additional privacy and security features. Now, the same subscription also brings access to two of Apple’s entertainment services.

The Rs. 75 monthly plan could therefore become particularly attractive to users who already need more than Apple’s free iCloud storage and also use Apple TV or Apple Arcade.

For families, the value can be even better because iCloud+ can be shared with up to five other family members.

However, the value depends on how much of the bundled content you actually use. Someone who only needs cloud storage and does not use Apple TV or Arcade may not see a major difference.

What About Apple Music?

Apple is also expanding its subscription benefits in some markets.

The company has introduced Apple Music Select in select regions, including Mozambique. It provides access to a selection of Apple Music stations without advertisements.

However, this additional benefit is not listed as part of the India iCloud+ offering in the supplied information.

For comparison, Apple’s standalone Apple Music Individual plan in India costs Rs. 139 per month, while the Family plan costs Rs. 229 per month.

The Bottom Line

Apple’s decision to add Apple TV and Apple Arcade to iCloud+ in India makes the subscription more compelling, especially for existing iCloud users.

At Rs. 75 per month, the entry-level plan now combines 50GB of cloud storage with access to Apple’s TV and gaming services. Higher plans offer more storage while retaining the same entertainment benefits.

It is also worth remembering that Apple has not simply increased the storage allowance. Instead, it is turning iCloud+ into a broader services bundle.

For Apple users already paying for iCloud storage, the new benefits could make the monthly subscription easier to justify.
