Samsung has launched the Galaxy S26 FE in India, bringing its latest Fan Edition smartphone to the country’s premium smartphone segment. The phone is priced at Rs. 79,999 for the sole 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.

Samsung is also offering launch benefits to make the phone more appealing. Customers can get Rs. 7,000 cashback on major bank cards or opt for a 12-month no-cost bank EMI. There is also an upgrade bonus of up to Rs. 8,000 when exchanging an old smartphone.

The Galaxy S26 FE comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, the Exynos 2500 chipset, a 50-megapixel main camera and a 4,900mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Price in India and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE price in India is Rs. 79,999. Samsung is offering the phone in a single configuration with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

It is available in three colour options:

• Pistachio
• Blueberry
• Graphite

Samsung’s launch offers include up to Rs. 8,000 upgrade bonus when exchanging an old smartphone. Buyers can also choose up to 30 months of no-cost EMI through select NBFC partners, along with an additional Rs. 3,000 upgrade bonus.

Alternatively, customers can claim Rs. 7,000 cashback using eligible bank cards or select a 12-month no-cost bank EMI. Purchases through Samsung’s e-store also come with an 18-month bank EMI option.

6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED Display

The Galaxy S26 FE features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.

The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach up to 1,900 nits of brightness. This should make the screen suitable for everything from streaming and gaming to reading and outdoor use.

The large display also puts the Galaxy S26 FE firmly in the category of phones designed for users who want a bigger screen without moving to Samsung’s Ultra models.

Exynos 2500 Chip Powers the Galaxy S26 FE

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S26 FE with its Exynos 2500 processor, built on a 3nm process.

The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is no higher-storage or higher-RAM configuration listed for India.

The phone runs One UI 9 based on Android 17. Samsung is also promising seven years of software and security updates, which gives the device a considerably longer support window.

Another notable addition is Gemini Omni. The feature can create and edit video clips using photos and videos stored in the phone’s Gallery.

50MP Triple Rear Camera

The Galaxy S26 FE gets a triple-camera setup on the back.

The system includes:

• 50MP wide camera with OIS
• 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 123-degree field of view
• 8MP telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom

For selfies and video calls, the phone gets a 12MP front camera.

The handset also carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Connectivity and Other Features

The Galaxy S26 FE supports 5G and 4G LTE alongside Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth 5.4.

The phone uses a dual-SIM setup with nano-SIM support. Samsung’s software experience also brings the broader One UI ecosystem to the Fan Edition range.

The combination of Android 17, seven years of updates and Samsung’s AI features could be one of the phone’s biggest long-term selling points.

The launch offers also make the effective purchase price more attractive. The Rs. 7,000 cashback or exchange benefits could make a meaningful difference for buyers who already own an older smartphone.

However, the sole 8GB+256GB configuration means buyers do not get much flexibility in choosing memory or storage.

The Galaxy S26 FE’s biggest appeal, therefore, is the overall Samsung package. It combines flagship-inspired features with a lower price than Samsung’s top-end S26-series models.
