News in Short
- Clash of Clans and WWE have reunited for a second crossover, bringing WWE-themed characters and features to the game.
- Cody Rhodes is asking players to find and raid John Cena’s in-game village between September 1 and September 30.
- Successful raids can unlock a one-time Cody Rhodes statue for players’ villages.
Clash of Clans is bringing WWE back into its virtual world with a second collaboration. This time, the crossover turns a long-running rivalry between Cody Rhodes and John Cena into an in-game hunt.
Rhodes and Cena are both long-time Clash of Clans players. Now, Rhodes is calling on the game’s community to help him locate Cena’s village and raid it.
The special event begins September 1 and runs through September 30. During this period, players can search for Cena’s loot-filled base while completing their regular raids.
How to Find John Cena in Clash of Clans
The central attraction of the crossover is John Cena’s in-game village.
Players can take part in the search during their daily raids. The more players participate, the greater their chance of finding Cena’s village.
However, finding the base is only part of the challenge. Players must also complete a successful raid to earn the special reward.
Those who successfully raid Cena’s village can receive a one-time Cody Rhodes statue for their Clash of Clans village.
And considering Cena’s reputation as a veteran player, the game warns that his base will not be an easy target.
WWE Superstars Become Clash of Clans Heroes
The collaboration also brings six WWE Superstars into the game as Clash of Clans characters.
The lineup includes:
- Cody Rhodes — Barbarian King
- Alexa Bliss — Archer Queen
- The Undertaker — Grand Warden
- IYO SKY — Royal Champion
- Jey Uso — Minion Prince
- Kane — Dragon Duke
Cody Rhodes also returns as the Barbarian King, giving players another way to bring the WWE crossover into their villages.
More WWE-Themed Content Is Coming
The John Cena hunt is not the only addition. Players can also experience a range of WWE-themed content throughout the event.
The crossover introduces temporary troops and a WWE-themed village setting inspired by WWE Money in the Bank.
Players can also open WWE Chests to collect different rewards. These include returning Action Figure Equipment, Challenge Tickets and a guaranteed Cody Rhodes Skin.
The event gives players several reasons to participate beyond simply searching for Cena’s village.
When Can You Play the WWE Clash of Clans Event?
The Clash of Clans and WWE crossover runs from September 1 through September 30, 2026.
Players can download Clash of Clans on iOS and Android and take part in the Search for Cena event during this period.
The crossover also arrives as Clash of Clans continues to build on a huge global player base. The game has recorded more than two billion lifetime downloads, according to the announcement.
For WWE fans who also play Clash of Clans, this collaboration adds a fun twist to regular raids. Instead of simply attacking another village, players now have a much bigger target: finding and taking down John Cena’s base.
