Portronics has introduced a new range of Ruffpad writing pads for children in India, giving kids a reusable alternative to paper for writing, drawing and doodling. The new lineup includes the Ruffpad Teddy 8.5, Ruffpad Dino 8.5 and Ruffpad PupX 10, with multicolour LCD screens and designs aimed at younger users.

The writing pads feature reusable screens, one-tap erase functionality and screen-lock protection. They can also help children practise handwriting without repeatedly using sheets of paper. The Ruffpad range starts at Rs. 499 in India.

Portronics Ruffpad Teddy 8.5, Dino 8.5, PupX 10 Price in India

The Ruffpad Dino 8.5 is the most affordable model in the lineup at Rs. 499. The Ruffpad Teddy 8.5 costs Rs. 599, while the larger Ruffpad PupX 10 is priced at Rs. 749.

All three models are available through the Portronics website, Amazon, Flipkart and other online and offline retail channels. Portronics provides a 12-month warranty with each writing pad.

Portronics Ruffpad Teddy 8.5, Dino 8.5 Features

The Ruffpad Teddy 8.5 comes with an 8.5-inch multicolour LCD screen and a teddy bear-inspired design. Children can use it for writing, drawing, doodling and handwriting practice. A one-tap erase button clears the screen, while the screen-lock feature prevents accidental erasure.

A replaceable CR2025 coin-cell battery powers the Teddy 8.5. It also uses a no-blue-light LCD panel and has a lightweight design for portability.

The Ruffpad Dino 8.5 shares the same 8.5-inch screen size but features a dinosaur-themed design. It supports reusable writing and drawing and includes the same one-tap erase function. The Dino 8.5 uses a replaceable CR2016 coin-cell battery.

Both models use multicolour LCD screens, giving children a more colourful surface for their drawings and notes.

Portronics Ruffpad PupX 10 Features

For children who need more space, the Ruffpad PupX 10 comes with a larger 10-inch multicolour LCD screen. It features a puppy-inspired design with floppy-ear handles and gives children more room for writing, drawing and handwriting practice.

The reusable writing surface can be cleared with a single tap. The PupX 10 uses a replaceable CR2025 coin-cell battery and keeps the design lightweight enough for children to carry around.

Ruffpad App Adds Digital Features

Beyond the reusable LCD screens, the Ruffpad range works with the Ruffpad app. The app allows users to save and share notes and doodles, giving the writing pads a digital component alongside their paper-free writing experience.
