Samsung has expanded its Galaxy F-series lineup with the launch of the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G in India. Starting at an effective price of Rs. 23,999, the smartphone packs a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, a 6,000mAh battery, Galaxy AI features, and promises six years of Android OS and security updates.
The new smartphone joins the Galaxy F70e 5G, which debuted earlier this year, and targets users looking for a feature-packed mid-range device with long software support.
Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G price in India and availability
The Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G starts at Rs. 25,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It is also available in an 8GB + 128GB model priced at Rs. 29,999 and an 8GB + 256GB variant priced at Rs. 34,999.
With launch offers, customers can purchase the smartphone at an effective starting price of Rs. 23,999.
The handset comes in Alpha Black and Aura Green colour options. It is available through Flipkart and Samsung India’s online store.
Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, AMOLED display and Galaxy AI
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for added durability.
Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor paired with up to 8GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone ships with Android 16-based One UI 8.5 and Samsung has committed to six years of OS upgrades and security updates.
The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G also includes several Galaxy AI features, including Circle to Search, Gemini voice assistant, AI Voice Transcription, Direct Voicemail, Now Bar and other productivity tools.
50MP camera and 6,000mAh battery
For photography, the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G features a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Selfies and video calls are handled by a 12-megapixel front camera with HDR support.
The smartphone houses a large 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. Samsung claims the battery can deliver over 24 hours of YouTube streaming, more than eight hours of gaming or around 12 hours of social media usage on a single charge.
With a large battery, AMOLED display, Galaxy AI features and extended software support, the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G aims to strengthen Samsung’s position in India’s competitive mid-range smartphone segment.
