Vivo has expanded its T5 smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Vivo T5e. Priced at Rs. 13,999, the new smartphone joins the Vivo T5 Lite 5G, Vivo T5x 5G and Vivo T5 Pro 5G as the most affordable model in the series.
The Vivo T5e targets entry-level buyers looking for a large battery, Android 16 and a durable design without spending more than Rs. 15,000.
Vivo T5e price in India and availability
The Vivo T5e comes in a single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant priced at Rs. 13,999.
The smartphone is available in Aero Blue and Shadow Grey colour options.
Buyers can purchase the device through Flipkart, the Vivo India online store and authorised offline retail outlets across the country.
Vivo T5e specifications
The phone features a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720×1,600 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
Powering the device is the Unisoc T7225 octa-core processor paired with 4GB RAM. Vivo also offers 4GB virtual RAM expansion for smoother multitasking.
The phone includes 64GB of internal storage, which users can expand by up to 2TB using a microSD card.

The phone packs a 5,500mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging.
According to Vivo, the battery can deliver:

The company also claims the battery will maintain its health for up to four years under normal usage.
On the durability front, the smartphone comes with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. It also carries Military-Grade Durability certification, making it more resistant to everyday wear and accidental drops.

For photography, the phone features a single 8MP rear camera.
On the front, the smartphone houses a 5MP selfie camera for selfies and video calls.
