Both smartphones pack impressive hardware, catering to users who prioritize performance, battery life, and camera quality. The launch marks another step for POCO in offering premium features at competitive prices.
POCO F7 Ultra: High-end specifications with wireless charging
The F7 Ultra boasts a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an ultra-bright 3,200 nits peak brightness. This makes it a great choice for multimedia consumption and gaming. The device is IP68-rated, ensuring protection against dust and water.
Under the hood, the F7 Ultra runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It comes with up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and fast data access.
Battery life is another highlight, featuring a 5,300 mAh battery. It supports 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, making it convenient for users who prefer cable-free charging.
For photography enthusiasts, the POCO F7 Ultra features a triple-camera setup. It includes a 50 MP Light Fusion 800 primary sensor with OIS, a 32 MP ultrawide lens, and a 50 MP 2.5x floating telephoto lens. The 32 MP front camera ensures high-quality selfies and video calls.
POCO F7 Pro: Bigger battery, different chipset
The F7 Pro shares the same 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED display as the Ultra variant. However, it features a larger 6,000 mAh battery, ensuring extended usage on a single charge. The device supports 90W fast charging but does not offer wireless charging.
Powering the F7 Pro is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, designed for efficiency and high performance. It comes with up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage.
On the camera front, the F7 Pro houses a 50 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 20 MP front camera. While it does not include a telephoto lens like the Ultra model, it still offers a solid photography experience.
