Adobe and Google Cloud Partner to Power the Next Wave of Creative AI
Adobe and Google Cloud have announced an expanded partnership to redefine how people create with AI. Revealed at Adobe MAX 2025, this collaboration merges Adobe’s creative expertise with Google Cloud’s advanced AI models, including Gemini, Veo, and Imagen. Together, they aim to make creative workflows faster, smarter, and more accessible for everyone.
AI Models Coming to Adobe’s Creative Suite
As part of this partnership, Adobe users will soon access Google’s leading AI models directly inside their favorite apps. Tools like Firefly, Photoshop, Express, and Premiere Pro will now feature Gemini, Veo, and Imagen. As a result, creators can generate sharper visuals, richer videos, and more dynamic content with ease.
Furthermore, enterprise users will gain access through Adobe GenStudio, enabling large-scale, AI-powered creative workflows that maintain consistency and speed.
Custom AI for Enterprises with Firefly Foundry
Another key highlight is Adobe Firefly Foundry, a new platform built for enterprise customers. It allows businesses to customize Google’s AI models with their own data, helping them create on-brand, production-ready content at scale.
This process runs on Google Cloud’s Vertex AI, ensuring strong data protection. Additionally, Google commits that customer data will not be used to train its foundation models, reinforcing trust and transparency.
Global Go-to-Market Expansion
Adobe and Google Cloud will also collaborate on a joint global rollout. Through this go-to-market strategy, the two companies will bring these AI tools to more creators and enterprises worldwide. This will help professionals produce high-quality content faster, improve brand storytelling, and unlock new creative possibilities.
The move extends Adobe’s open model strategy, offering flexibility to work with top AI systems within its trusted ecosystem.
Leaders Share Their Vision
Shantanu Narayen, CEO of Adobe, said the partnership will “ignite creativity for all in the AI era.” He emphasized that Adobe’s creative DNA, paired with Google’s AI models, will push the boundaries of creative expression.
Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, shared a similar vision. He said that integrating Google’s models into Adobe’s tools will “speed up content creation and make new ideas possible.”
Building on Recent Creative Partnerships
This announcement follows Adobe’s recent partnership with YouTube. That collaboration will bring Premiere’s video editing tools to YouTube Shorts through a new feature called Create for YouTube Shorts. The feature, coming soon to the Premiere mobile app, will help creators edit, publish, and share videos directly to YouTube Shorts.
With this new Google Cloud partnership, Adobe continues to strengthen its AI ecosystem. Together, they’re setting the stage for a future where human creativity meets machine intelligence—empowering creators, brands, and enterprises alike.
