Reliance Jio has announced a new set of prepaid recharge plans to mark the start of 2026. Branded as the Happy New Year 2026 Plans, the new offerings focus on high-speed 5G connectivity, bundled OTT content, and access to Google’s Gemini Pro AI service.
The telecom operator has introduced three options under this refresh. These include a monthly prepaid plan, a long-term annual recharge, and a new Flexi data add-on. All plans are now live on Jio’s website, the MyJio app, and offline retail stores across India.
Jio Happy New Year Monthly Plan: Price and Benefits
The headline offering is the Happy New Year Plan priced at Rs. 500. It comes with a validity of 28 days and offers 2GB of high-speed data per day. Jio is also bundling unlimited 5G access with this plan, subject to network availability.
Alongside data benefits, users get unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. The plan also includes access to several OTT platforms such as Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, Sun NXT, Hoichoi, FanCode, Planet Marathi, Chaupal, JioTV, and JioAICloud.
A key addition is Google Gemini Pro. Jio is offering an 18-month subscription with this plan. The AI service will be available only to users aged 18 years and above.
Jio Annual Plan Offers Higher Daily Data
Jio has also introduced a new annual prepaid plan priced at Rs. 3,599. This plan offers a validity of 365 days and provides 2.5GB of data per day. Unlimited 5G access is included here as well.
Users subscribing to this plan get unlimited voice calls and SMS benefits. Access to JioTV and JioAICloud is bundled. The annual plan also includes the same 18-month Google Gemini Pro subscription.
Jio Flexi Pack Adds Data and OTT Choice
For users looking for additional data, Jio has launched a Flexi Pack priced at Rs. 103. This add-on offers 5GB of total data with a validity of 28 days.
Subscribers can choose one OTT bundle based on preference. Options include a Hindi pack with JioCinema, SonyLIV, and Zee5; an international pack with Lionsgate, Discovery+, and FanCode; or a regional pack featuring Sun NXT, Hoichoi, and Kancha Lanka.
Availability
All Happy New Year 2026 plans are currently available. Users can recharge through Jio’s official website, the MyJio app, or authorised offline stores nationwide.
