Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Enterprise Edition in India with a starting price of ₹49,999. The rugged tablet is built for businesses and professionals working in high-intensity environments. Bookings opened on August 18, 2025.

The tablet runs on an octa-core processor and comes in two variants—6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Storage expansion is also supported for added flexibility.
Replaceable Battery and No-Battery Mode
Samsung has equipped the tablet with a replaceable battery, making it convenient for field workers. In addition, its No-Battery Mode allows operation while connected to a power source, ideal for fixed setups.

The device ships with Android 15 and promises 7 years of OS upgrades, extending up to Android 21. It also includes a 12-month complimentary subscription to Knox Suite, Samsung’s enterprise security platform.
